Wahl® Powerful Heated Massager Guide

Attention : If the unit stops running as a safety precaution, please allow it to cool before attempting to use it.

  1. With the switch in the OFF position, plug the power cord into an AC 120-V outlet.

  2. Place the desired attachment head on the stem of the massager. Heads easily press on and pull off.

  3. If heat or cold is desired, the special attachments must be used.

  4. Push the top switch for the heat setting. Use heat only with the Deep Heat attachment. art no: 22_120722 (v.2022.12)

  5. Begin at the lowest speed setting. Gradually increase to desired massage speed by rolling the dial toward the top of the massager. Roll the dial toward the bottom of the massager to decrease speed.WAHL-9281-210-Electric-Corded-Dog-Clipper-FIG.3

  6. Apply the massager to the targeted area, using continual movement. A circular motion is often the most effective. NOTE: See “Massage Techniques”

MASSAGE TECHNIQUES

  • SHOULDERS AND NECK: Massage each shoulder toward the back of the neck to point just behind and below the ear. Then back to the shoulder. Repeat several times.
  • ARMS: Start with a gentle massage of the palms and fingers. Next, using a circular motion, move upward to the forearms. Then up to the biceps and shoulders.
  • LEGS: If desired, massage the bottoms of the feet. Then, using a circular motion, massage each leg from the calf up and over the thigh.
  • CHEST: Massage from the center of the chest outward, and up toward each shoulder.
  • BACK : Massage from the top of the spine to the bottom, and from center outward.
  • ABDOMEN: Relax abdominal muscles by massaging from the center outward, using a gentle, circular motion.
  • JOINTS: Relieve tired, aching knees and elbows with smooth, circular strokes.
  • FACE: Gently massage from the nose outward, taking care to avoid contact with the eye.
  • SCALP: Start at the back of the neck and massage up to the top of the head. Using this up-and-down motion, massage across the scalp.
