Product Usage Instructions

Charging:

  1. Ensure the appliance is unplugged from the electrical outlet.
  2. Connect the charger to the appliance for charging. The appliance will not operate when connected to the charger.
  3. When fully charged, unplug the charger from both the appliance and the electrical outlet.

Cleaning:

  1. Always unplug the appliance before cleaning to prevent electric shock.
  2. Use a clean, dry cloth to wipe the exterior of the appliance. Do not use water or liquid cleaners.

Troubleshooting:

If the unit stops running or charging:

  1.  Allow the appliance to cool before attempting to use or charge it again.

  1. Except when charging, always unplug the charger from the electrical outlet and from the appliance. The appliance will not operate (run) when plugged into the charger.
  2. Always unplug this appliance before cleaning.

WARNING
To reduce the risk of burns, electrical shock or injury to persons:

  1. Do not crush, disassemble, heat above 100°C (212°F), or incinerate the appliance, due to the risk of fire, explosion, or burns.

  2. This appliance can be used by children aged 14 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge
    if they have been given supervision or instruction, by a person responsible for their safety, concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children without supervision.

  3. Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.

  4. Never operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly if it has been dropped or damaged, or if it has been dropped into water. Return the appliance to Wahl Clipper Corporation for examination and repair.

  5. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.

  6. Do not use outdoors or operate while aerosol (spray) products are being used.

  7. Never drop or insert any object into any opening.

  8. Do not use this appliance with a damaged or broken comb or with teeth missing from the blades, as injury may occur. Before use, make certain blades are aligned properly. (See Clipper Maintenance Instructions. May not be applicable for all appliances.)

  9. During use, do not place or leave the appliance where it is expected to be subject to damage by an animal, or exposed to weather.

  10. Always attach plug to the appliance first, then to the outlet.

  11. To disconnect, turn all controls to “OFF” (e.g. “0”), then remove the charger from the outlet.

  12. Turn all controls to “OFF” (e.g. “0”), before placing on or removing blades or attachments.

  13. For an appliance that includes a power supply unit (charger) only use the one provided with the appliance to recharge the battery.

  14. For an appliance that includes a power supply unit (charger) correctly orient it in a vertical or floor mount position.

  15. For an appliance that includes USB charging capabilities only use with a USB Power Source on a certified product, such as on a computer, receptacle lamp, class 2 power supply, or automotive adaptor. Never use an unapproved USB source.

  16. Detach the hand-held part from the charger supply cord before cleaning it in water.

  17. This appliance contains batteries that are only replaceable by skilled persons.

  18. Do not expose or store the appliance at temperatures below 0°C (32°F) or above 45°C (113°F). Avoid direct exposure to sunlight.

  19. Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the appliance outside of the temperature range of 0-45°C (32-113°F). Charging improperly or at temperatures outside of this specified range may damage the battery and increase the risk of fire.

  20. If batteries are damaged or leaking, avoid contact with the skin or eyes. If this occurs, immediately rinse well with water and seek medical care.

  21. To prevent batteries from heating up or releasing toxic substances, do not modify, pierce, damage, disassemble, short-circuit, overcharge or reverse charge the appliance or its batteries.
    For an appliance that has a lithium-ion battery:

  22. If the unit stops running or charging, please allow it to cool before attempting to use or charge. If the problem persists, contact your nearest Wahl repair location.
