Introduction
The 5 Star Series line from Wahl Professional’s commercial grade line of goods created for the busy barber offers the precision and power for your diverse clientele. The cordless senior clipper from the 5 Star Series is designed to provide the precise performance that professionals need and is exclusively meant for professional use. With a lever that controls texture and taper, this clipper can harsh or soft line fade while producing smooth blends. It is the best clipper for removing large amounts of hair and working over combs. A sturdy metal housing with excellent impact resistance houses these features. It has a rotary motor, a lithium-ion battery with a 70-minute runtime, a (#2191) changeable 0000 blade, and other features.
The Cordless Senior Clipper is provided with all necessary accessories for your convenience. Three cutting guides, a charging transformer, a style comb, a cleaning brush, oil for clipper blades, a red blade guard, and operating instructions are all included in the package. The 6.25″-long and 13-ounce Cordless Senior Clipper (#8504-400) is made of plastic. In 1919, Leo J. Wahl created the initial hand-held electric clipper. HOW TO ALIGN
- Just enough to allow you to move the blade, slightly loosen both of the blade screws.
- synchronize the bottom and top blades.
- The bottom blade’s first little tooth must be on the extreme left tooth of the top blade.
- Adjust blade, then tighten screws.
- Connect the clipper.
HOW TO KNOW WHEN WAHL SENIOR CLIPPERS ARE FULLY CHARGED
Make sure the clipper is turned off before charging. The charge indicator is illuminated while charging. When almost fully charged, the charge indicator will start to flash, and when fully charged, it can turn off.
HOW TO REMOVE THE BLADE
- Push away from the clipper while pressing your thumbs firmly on the blade’s teeth (Fig. B).
- Use a soft brush to remove any hair or debris after the blade has been removed.
- Oiling should be done before usage and after each cut; make sure any extra oil is removed.
HOW TO FIX NOISY HAIR CLIPPERS
Turn the power/voltage screw counterclockwise until the noise of the clipper dwindles to a normal running sound, then continue to adjust it another quarter turn. This should have resolved the issue if adjusted properly.

I don’t know the RPM motor speeds, but I can tell you, it’s quieter than the Anddis clippers. And it is surprisingly powerful, I wasn’t expecting that from a cordless clipper.

Yes! The lithium ion battery has been thoroughly tested and proven to last for years to come.
Why is my clippers so loud? And why does it seem like I got a used one? Planning on returning****
These clippers are slightly and mildly noisy but not loud if you think you got used ones you should probably return them/exchange them.

What is the shortest it cuts to?****
I don’t have an exact measurement – I always use one of the numbered guards. However, I would guess it is close to 1/8 inch, or less. However, the blades can be adjusted down to “zero gap” for a close, really close cut. Screws on back of bottom blade can be loosened allow for the adjustment. Many use this for a close, fade cut.
