When using the SEVVA – Instant hot water dispenser, hereafter referred to as the ‘device,’ always consider the following precautions:

WARNING! The water coming from the device is hot. Do not touch it to prevent burns.

General Information

  • Read the user manual carefully and store it in a safe place. If you pass this device on to others, also provide them with this manual.
  • Use this device only in accordance with the instructions in this user manual.
  • This device can be used by children aged 8 and older and by people with limited physical, sensory, or mental abilities or lack of experience and expertise, provided they are supervised or have received instructions on the safe use of the device and are aware of potential hazards.
  • Children should not play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance should not be carried out by children unless they are over 8 years old and supervised.
  • This device is intended for household or similar use, not for professional use.
  • WARNING! Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It can become dangerous
  • play material for children. Risk of suffocation!

Electricity and Heat

  • Before use, ensure that the mains voltage matches the voltage indicated on the device’s nameplate.
  • Make sure your hands are dry before touching the device, the power cord, or the plug.
  • Insert the plug into a grounded socket that is always easily accessible.
  • WARNING! Never cover the plug or cord with cloth, curtains, or any other material to prevent
  • overheating and potential fire hazards.
  • Ensure that the device and power cord do not come into contact with heat sources such as a hot stove or open flame.
  • The device should be able to dissipate heat to prevent fire hazards. Therefore, ensure there is enough clearance around the device (at least 10 cm from all sides) and do not place the device in contact with flammable materials and/or near flammable materials.

Use

  • Do not open the water reservoir lid hastily to prevent burns from hot steam or possible functions.
  • Do not use your hands or other body parts to check the temperature or steam of the device while it is operating.
  • Do not use the device to heat anything other than water.
  • Do not fill the water reservoir of the device above the “MAX” indicator.
  • Do not use the device if the water level is below “MIN” to prevent damage to the heating element.
  • Place the device on a flat and stable surface, where it cannot tip over or be suddenly knocked over, causing burns.
  • Do not lean on the device.
  • Do not operate the device upside down.
  • Do not place the device in a working disinfection cabinet.
  • Do not use the device in the refrigerator or freezer.
  • Never move the device while it is on or still hot. Turn off the device first and move it only after it has cooled down.
  • Clean the device thoroughly after use (see “cleaning and maintenance”).
  • Avoid locations subject to vibration, cold, or humidity.
  • Do not expose the device to direct sunlight, heat sources, excessive humidity, or corrosive environments.
  • Do not place the device under mechanical load.
  • Improper use of the device can damage the product.
  • Handle the device with care. Bumping or dropping, even from a low height, can damage the device.
  • Do not open the housing, as this can lead to an electric shock.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device or modify it in any way.
  • The device should be checked if it has been damaged in any way, such as a damaged power cord/plug, objects have fallen into it, it has been exposed to rain or moisture, it has fallen, or it is not functioning properly.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaning agents to clean the device.

Follow these instructions for important information

  • Use the device indoors only, in dry areas, and away from water, other liquids, or humidity.
  • Do not use the device if it, the cable, or the plug has fallen into water or another liquid.
  • Never immerse the device, the cable, and the plug in water or another liquid.
  • Do not touch the device if it has fallen into water or another liquid. Immediately unplug it from the socket. Do not use the device anymore.
  • Place the device on a flat and stable surface, where it cannot tip over.• Warning: Discharged water is hot. Do not touch it to prevent burns.
  • The device is equipped with an overheating protection. It will activate if the temperature becomes too high. If this happens, allow the device to cool down before using it again. Turn off the device and then unplug it from the socket. Let the device cool completely. The device needs approximately 30 minutes to cool down completely.
  • Unplug the device if it will not be used for an extended period.
  • When removing the plug from the socket, pull the plug itself, not the cable.
  • Do not operate the device with an external timer or a separate remote control system.

INSTALLING AND USING THE DEVICE

Carefully open the packaging before removing the device. Ensure that the device is complete and undamaged. If parts are missing or damaged, contact the seller and do not use the product. Dispose of the packaging in accordance with local regulations.

Initial use

  • Remove the device and accessories from the box. Remove any stickers, protective film, or plastic from the device.

  • Make sure the plug is disconnected from the socket.

  • Before using the device for the first time, wipe all removable parts with a damp cloth. Never use aggressive or abrasive cleaning materials, a scouring pad, or steel wool, as they can damage the device.

  • Clean the water tank before the first use. Fill the water tank with clean water, remove the water from the water tank by turning the device upside down, and dry the water tank compartment with a dry cloth. Repeat these steps approximately 3 times.

  • Do not use detergents in the water tank!

  • Place the device on a flat, stable surface, where it cannot tip over. Connect the device to the mains.

  • The device is now ready for use.

  • Remove the lid from the water tank and fill the water tank with clean water. Ensure that the water tank is filled at least up to the “MIN” marking and not above the “MAX” marking on the water meter.
    There are holes in the tank above the “MAX” indication mark, which release water in case of overfilling and prevent a vacuum from forming in the tank compartment.

  • Close the water tank by placing the lid of the water tank back on the tank.

  • Place your cup on the removable drip tray and ensure it aligns with the spout.

  • Press the power on/off button 1, which will light up blue. After approximately 5 to 10 seconds, the device will dispense 200 ml of hot water. Once it’s done, the device will automatically turn off.

  • Press the power on/off button 1 twice, which will light up green. After approximately 5 to 10 seconds, the device will continuously dispense hot water. Once the desired volume is reached, press the power on/off button to stop the device from dispensing, after which it will automatically turn off.

  • When the water tank is empty, the power on/off button 1 will alternate between blue and green flashing for approximately 30 seconds, indicating that you need to refill the water tank.

  • Warning : Avoid burns. Do not touch the hot boiling water; it is very hot.

  • If you are not going to use the device further, unplug it from the socket.Thermostat

  • The device has a built-in thermostat that automatically turns off the device in case of overheating or abnormal operation. If the device becomes too hot (overheating), the thermostat and fuse will be activated, and the device will stop working. Let it cool for about 15 minutes, and the fuse will automatically reset. The device can then be used again.

  • If the device still does not work normally after cooling, it is recommended to manually reset the thermostat fuse by pressing the reset button in the small reset button hole until you hear a click.

  • Please use the reset button for this action.

  • Drain Stopper

  • If the device will not be used for an extended period, clean it and remove the wastewater.

  • Open the drain stopper by turning it counterclockwise so that the wastewater can flow away.

  • Once all wastewater has been removed, replace the drain stopper by turning it clockwise and make sure it is securely tightened.

  • Caution! In case of any water leakage after filling the water reservoir, check if the drain stopper is properly tightened.

CLEANING – MAINTENANCE & DESCALING

Descaling

  • To maintain performance, it is recommended to descale the device monthly with regular use. Use only a non-toxic cleaner such as citric acid or vinegar!
  • Pour some citric acid or vinegar into the water reservoir. Dispense the liquid until the reservoir is empty. Repeat this two or three times to completely remove the scale. After completion, the water reservoir and the device should be cleaned.
  • Pour out all boiled water and add purified water. Dispense the water until the reservoir is empty. Repeat this two or three times, each time with fresh water, before consuming the dispensed water.

Important note!

  • Once the device reaches cumulative usage of 10 hours, the green light 10 on the dispenser will flash to remind you to descale the device.
  • After descaling: Press the power on/off button 1 for 5 seconds to unlock the descaling lamp indicator 10. The green light will stop flashing, and the device will be ready for use.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance
  • Unplug the device from the socket and let it cool completely. Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid.
  • Clean the device after each use.
  • Clean the housing and the interior with a damp cloth.
  • Do not use detergents in the water reservoir!
  • Never use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents, a scouring pad, or steel wool, as they can damage the device.
  • Thoroughly dry the device.
  • Store the device in a dry place.

STORAGE & TRANSPORTATION
When storing the device, it should first be cleaned in accordance with this user manual. The device should be stored in its original packaging.
