Product Usage Instructions
Installation:
- Loosen the docking to access the battery.
- Remove the battery tab from the device.
- Follow further installation steps in the Eva Smart Home app.
Pairing Contact Switch to the Hub/Gateway:
Go into the Eva Smart Home app and follow the instructions provided to pair
the Contact Switch to the hub or gateway.
Factory Reset:
- Press and hold the function button on the Contact Switch for more than 10 seconds to reset it to factory settings.
- The LED lights will flash green three times with a brief pause to indicate pairing mode/reset.
Placement of the Datek Contact Switch:
- Attach the sensor to door or window frames using double-sided tape. Ensure correct open/close status is displayed in the app and LED light indicates properly.
- Make sure sensor and magnet distance is less than 15mm for proper alignment.
LED Indications:
- LED OFF: Normal operation
- 1 short red flash: Sensor is open
- 2 short green flashes: User-initiated short poll
- 3 quick green flashes: Pairing mode
- 1 second green flash ON/OFF: Device startup
Using the Button:
- Hold button for more than 10 seconds: Factory reset
- Hold button for more than 6 seconds: Turn off flashing during opening/closing
- Hold button for more than 2 seconds: Activate short poll in 2 minutes
- Short push and connected to the hub: Send IAS supervision

Datek Contact Switch
Introduction
Datek Contact Switch ensures that you always have control over your home! It is small and location friendly. You attach the sensor to the door or to your window with double-sided tape. You get a full overview in the app of doors and windows.
Installation
- Loosen the docking by pushing on it to access the battery.
- Remove the battery tab from the device (see the illustration).
- Follow the further steps in the Eva Smart Home app.
Pairing Contact Switch to the Hub/Gateway
Go into the Eva Smart Home app and follow the instructions
Factory Reset
Press and hold the function button on the Contact Switch for more than 10
seconds to reset it to factory settings and put it in pairing mode
Note: LED lights will repeat 3 green flashes with a brief pause to
indicate that the device is in pairing mode/reset.
Placement of the Datek Contact Switch
- You can place the door/window sensor in door or window frames and secure it using double-sided tape.
- Note: Before attaching the Contact Switch, ensure that the device displays the correct open/close status with a red LED light and shows the correct status in the smart home app.
- Note: Make sure the sensor is mounted in such a way that the distance between the sensor and magnet is less than 15 mm. Both parts have markings to assist with proper alignment with each other.
