Functions
- Manual time setting
- Temperature alternatively in °C or °F.
- 12/24 hour time display.
- Display of indoor/outdoor temperature and MIN/MAX indoor/outdoor temperature
- Low battery indicators for station and sensor
- Wall mounting or table standing.
Initial operation
- Place the station and the sensor next to each other on a flat surface and open the battery compartment of both station and sensor. Leave the sensor on the channel set as factory setting for this station (A).
- Insert 2xAAA batteries observing correct polarity(+/- icons) into the outdoor sensor and shortly after (within 30 seconds) insert 2xAAA batteries observing correct polarity(+/- icons) into the base station.
- The LCD of the station will show all segments for 2 seconds and then start to work. Once the outdoor temperature is received, close the battery compartment covers again. Place the sensor and the station accordingly to safety hints.
Notes
- Place the outdoor sensor protected from rain, wind and direct sunlight for best possible measuring.
- For exchanging batteries, open the battery compartment covers and take out the old batteries. Wait 2 minutes to fully reset the station and sensor and follow the above steps with the new batteries.
Manual time setting
- In normal display mode, press and hold the “°C/°F I SET” button for 2 seconds to enter the setting mode and the 12/24 hour time display is flashing.
- Press the “MAX/MIN / +” button to set 12 hour or 24 hour time display. In 12 hour time display, the time will be shown with either the PM (after noon) or AM (before noon) icon, to indicate the correct time. Press the “°C/°F / SET” button to save your changes and continue with the next setting option.
- The hour display is flashing, press the “MAX/MIN/+” button to set the hour. Press the “”C/°F / SET” button to save your changes and continue with the next setting option.
- The minute display is flashing, press the “MAX/MIN / +” button to set the minute. Press the “°C/°F I SET’ button to save your changes, exit the setting and return to normal display mode.
Notes
- Press and hold the “MAX/MIN / +” button in the setting mode to quickly adjust the setting values.
- Do not press any button for 30 seconds to automatically exit the setting process and return to normal display mode.
Temperature unit
In normal display mode, press the “°C/°F / SET ‘ button to switch between temperature display in °C or in °F.
MIN/MAX value display and reset
- In normal display mode, press the “MAX/MIN/+” button to switch between maximum value display (MAX icon displayed), minimum value display (MIN icon displayed) or current value display (no MIN/MAX icon displayed)
- Press and hold the “MAX/MIN / +” button for 2 seconds while viewing the maximum or minimum values to reset the maximum or minimum data history.
- The MIN/MAX values will automatically be reset every day at 0:00.
Low battery indicator
- If the “IN” column displays the low battery icon, you need to replace the batteries of the base station as soon as possible.
- If the “OUT” column displays the low battery icon, you need to replace the batteries of the outdoor sensor as soon as possible.

When temperature is lower than 0°C(32°F), it will display 0°C(32°F).
When temperature is higher than 50°C(122°F), it will display 50°C(122°F).
Indoor Temperature accuracy: ±1°C (20°C-24°C/68°F-75°F), ±2°C rest
Outdoor measurement range: -50°C (-58°F) ~ 70°C (158°F)
When temperature is lower than -50°C (-58°F), it will display -50°C (-58°F).
When temperature is higher than 70°C (158°F), it will display 70°C (158°F).

Environmental reception effects
The station obtains the accurate time with wireless technology. Same as all wireless devices, the reception is maybe affected by the following circumstances:
- long transmitting distance
- nearby mountains and valleys
- near freeway, railway, airports, high voltage cable etc.
- near construction site
- among tall buildings
- inside concrete buildings
- near electrical appliances (computers, TV’s, etc) and metallic structures
- inside moving vehicles
Place the station at a location with optimal signal, i.e. close to a window and away from metal surfaces or electrical appliances.
Precautions
- This main unit is intended to be used only indoors. Only outdoor sensor should be used outside.
- Do not subject the unit to excessive force or shock.
- Do not expose the unit to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, dust or humidity.
- Do not immerse in water.
- Avoid contact with any corrosive materials.
- Do not dispose this unit in a fire as it may explode.
- Do not open the inner back case or tamper with any components of this unit.
Batteries safety warnings
- Use only alkaline batteries, not rechargeable batteries.
- Install batteries correctly by matching the polarities (+/-).
- Always replace a complete set of batteries.
- Never mix used and new batteries.
- Remove exhausted batteries immediately.
- Remove batteries when not in use.
- Do not recharge and do not dispose of batteries in fire as the batteries may explode.
- Ensure batteries are stored away from metal objects as contact may cause a short circuit.
- Avoid exposing batteries to extreme temperature or humidity or direct sunlight.
- Keep all batteries out of reach from children. They are a choking hazard.
