The Sealey Adjustable Arm Safety Spectacles are designed with a clear, anti-scratch polycarbonate lens and adjustable nylon arms for a secure fit. These safety spectacles meet the BS EN 166/F standard.

  • WARNING! Safety glasses with polycarbonate lenses are impact resistant but may break under severe impact.
  • WARNING! Eye protection worn over standard ophthalmic spectacles may transmit impact, thus creating a hazard to the wearer.
  • WARNING! Materials which may come into contact with the wearer’s skin could cause allergic reactions to susceptible individuals.
  • WARNING! Scratched or damaged oculars should be replaced.
  • WARNING! Eye protectors against high speed particles worn over standard ophthalmic spectacles may transmit impacts, thus creating a hazard to the wearer.
  • Always perform a risk assessment and follow correct health and safety procedures before using this product.
  • DO NOT use tinted or clear lenses when welding or performing other operations which expose your eyes to harmful levels of radiation.
    IMPORTANT: if protection against high speed particles at extremes of temperature is required, then the selected eye-protector should be marked with the letter ‘T’ immediately after the impact letter, i.e. FT, BT or AT. If the impact letter is not followed by the letter ‘T’ then the eye protector shall only be used against high speed particles at room temperature.

APPLICATIONS

  • SUITABILITY
    Protection against various hazards which are likely to damage the user’s eyes or impair vision. The function is to provide protection against impacts and optical radiation. When worn tightly to the face, these safety goggles provide excellent protection by preventing:

    • Impact hazards from chipping, grinding, machining, masonry work, riveting and sanding.
    • Chemical hazards against liquids, acid and chemical handling, degreasing, plating.
      NOTE: frequent cleaning due to lens fog may be required in certain conditions.

    • Optical Class 1 – suitable for work with high vision requirements for permanent use.
  • MECHANICAL STRENGTH

    • F – High speed particle at extremes of temperature – low energy impact.

MAINTENANCE

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner that is compatible with the environment. When the product becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and fluids according to local regulations.
