Installation & operation
Delivery
Remove the appliance from the packaging and completely remove all packaging
parts from the appliance.
Choking hazard warning!
Keep packaging parts out of the reach of children and dispose of them as soon
as possible.
Please note
Please have visible damage to the outer packaging confirmed by the parcel
service driver immediately upon delivery. If transport damage is only noticed
during unpacking, the parcel service must be notified in writing within 24
hours of delivery in order to hold them liable for the damage.
Installation & operation
The appliance is designed for use on a free-standing stove with a surface
temperature of 60 – 350 °C. If the operating temperature of 350 °C is
exceeded, the fan must be removed. It is therefore very important to
constantly monitor the temperature of the stove to ensure operation within the
operating temperature and to protect the appliance from damage. Use the
thermometer included in the scope of delivery for this purpose.
A safety device for the motor is located on the underside of the base. This heat-sensitive metal strip raises the appliance if it gets too hot, allowing the temperature of the fan to be lowered. Once the temperature is back within limits, the metal strip automatically returns to its original position and the appliance lowers again and can resume operation.
Position the fan on top of the oven. Operation starts automatically from
around 60 °C.
The optimum operating temperature is 80 – 250 °C.
To optimize the function and effectiveness of the fan, please note the following when installing: (see Fig. 1)
- The top of the stove must be level
- Do not place it in front of the stove pipe
- It can be placed on both sides of the stove pipe, even at an angle to the stove front

Waste disposal
Choking hazard warning!
Keep packaging parts out of the reach of children and dispose of them as soon
as possible.
The packaging protects the appliance from damage during transport. The
packaging materials are generally selected according to environmental and
disposal considerations and are therefore recyclable. Returning the packaging
to the material cycle saves raw materials and reduces the amount of waste.
Packaging components (e.g. films, Styrofoam®) can be hazardous to children.
Waste batteries and waste electrical and electronic equipment must not be disposed of together with household waste. Waste batteries and waste electrical and electronic equipment must be collected and disposed of separately. Remove used batteries, accumulators, and lamps from the devices before disposing of them. Ask the local authorities or your retailer about recycling centers and collection points. Depending on local regulations, retailers may be obliged to take back used batteries and waste electrical and electronic equipment free of charge. Help reduce the demand for raw materials by reusing and recycling your used batteries and waste electrical and electronic equipment. Waste batteries (especially lithium-ion batteries) and waste electrical and electronic equipment contain valuable, recyclable materials that can hurt the environment and your health if not disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner. Delete any personal data on your old device before disposing of it.
