- System Setup
- Connect the Portable Video Player to a power source using the AC Adapter or Car Charger.
- Insert a compatible disc into the player.

- Remote controller doesn’t work:
- Ensure the remote controller is aimed directly at the front of the Video Player within 8 meters and 30 degrees.
- The player sound is too low:
- Check both speakers are working properly.
- Ensure the disc meets the supported specifications.
- No sound or distorted sound:
- Check for static discharges or external interferences.
- Can’t advance through a movie:
- Some discs may prohibit advancing through certain sections.

USEFUL TIPS
- Battery: DVD120 has a high-capacity built-in lithium rechargeable battery of 2500mAH which will last for 5 hours when the Battery is fully charged.
- Please note: Battery should be fully charged for at least 6 hours before first-time use on battery.
- Before charging make sure DVD120 is switched off. The charging indicator
- LED will change from RED to OFF indicating that the battery has been fully charged. When the unit is ON, the LED turns GREEN.
- DVD120 can also be powered with its Car Charger or AC Power adapter.
- If you choose to use DVD120 plugged on, you can simply plug and play with either of these 2 power cables included in the box.
- Screen Protector: The device is supplied with a screen protector, which can be removed from the screen for a clearer picture
- Laser Protection There is a yellow card inside the player. Before you insert a disc, please remove the card. Please DO NOT touch the laser pick-up or other parts with your hand.

CONTROL BUTTONS
REMOTE CONTROL
- MUTE: Mute audio, press again to resume audio.
- USB CARD: Switch between DVD, SD Card and USB modes.
- SLOW: Slow down the playback.
- A: Repeat the DVD between two points. Press once for the start point, press again for the endpoint, and playback will repeat between these points. REPEAT: Repeat the loaded disc.
- VOL-: Reduce the volume.
- VOL+: Increase the volume.
- DISPLAY: Adjust the ratio and size of the display.
- RETURN: Return to the previous page on the menu.
- SETUP: Access the setup menu.
- MENU: When the DVD is loaded, access the main menu of the DVD. DIRECTION ARROWS: In DVD playback, press once to skip forward or backward chapters, and hold the button to fast forward or rewind playback. In the menu, press to scroll left, right, up, and down.
- ENTER: In the menu, press to select the menu option.
- PLAY /PAUSE: Pause and resume DVD playback.
- STOP: Stop DVD playback.
- 0-9 NUMBER KEYS: Press the number to input a DVD chapter or CD track.
- TFT: Press to turn off the DVD screen, and press again to turn it back on.
- SUBTITLE: Change subtitle mode.

- Power Supply & Charge
- Connect to the mains power supply with an AC Adaptor, to play using the mains power supply or to charge the internal battery. Battery charge will show as the red light on the front panel. When fully charged, the red light will dim
- Note – When plugged into the mains the DVD player will also charge the battery while playing.
- Connect to the car power supply with a Car Adaptor, to power devices using the car power supply or to charge the internal battery. The battery charge will show as a red light on the front panel. When fully charged, the red light will dim.

- Internal Battery Power – If the DVD player battery is fully charged, do not connect the device to the AC Adaptor or Car Adaptor. The DVD player will play using its internal charged battery. When the battery level is running low, an icon indicating the battery level will flash on the DVD player screen.
- To maintain the power supply when the battery icon is flashing, connect the DVD player with an AC Adaptor or Car Adaptor for charging. supply, and to charge the battery.
CONNECTIONS
SYSTEM SETUP Menu Operation
- Press [SETUP] on the remote control or on the unit to access the setup menu.
- Press [LEFT] / [RIGHT] to select an item. The submenu of the selected item will be instantly shown.
- Press [UP] / [DOWN] to select an item in the submenu, then press [OK]/ [ENTER] to enter. Use [UP] / [DOWN] to select an option, then press [OK] / [ENTER] to confirm it or press [LEFT] to cancel.
- Press [UP] / [DOWN] to continue to set other items in the to access the setup menu.
- Press [LEFT] to go back to the superior menu of the current one.
- Press [SETUP] again and press [ENTER] / [OK] to exit the setup menu.
General Setup Page [TV Display]
- 4:3 Normal/ PS PANSCAN
- If the unit is connected to a conventional TV set, the wide-screen image will be displayed on the screen in its native aspect ratio with some part on the left and right cut off.
- 4:3 Normal / LB LETTERBOX
- If the unit is connected to a conventional TV set, the wide-screen image will be displayed in its native aspect ratio with black borders on the top and the bottom side.
- 16:9wide
- Select this option if the unit is connected to a wide-screen
- TV set. The wide-screen image will be displayed in full screen in its native aspect ratio while the 4:3 image will be stretched out horizontally to fit in the screen.
SYSTEM SETUP
[ANGLE MARK]
- Set this item to ON. When a disc encoded with multiple camera angles is playing, the angle mark will display on the screen. Then you can view the video of different camera angles by pressing [ANGLE] on the remote control.
- Set this item to OFF to disable this function.
- NOTE: This function only works with those discs encoded with multiple camera angles.
[OSD LANGUAGE] (on-screen display language)
- Set this on-screen display language in this item.
[SCREEN SAVER]
- ON: If the image remains motionless on the screen, for several minutes, a screen saver will appear on the screen. You can press any key or button to wake it up.
- OFF: Turn off the screen saver function.
[LAST MEMORY]
- ON: Each time you turn off the unit or stop the disc, it will memorize the last play duration. Next time you turn on the unit and play the same disc, the unit will play from that memorized point.
- OFF: Disable the last memory function.
[MP3 LYRIC]
If you want to show the lyrics of a song, please load the lyrics and music as
the same name in a USB or Memory card before performing this function.
- Choose an MP3 file.
- Download the corresponding lyrics with the extension “.Ire” from the Internet or create it with a lyric file editor (not included).
- Rename the lyrics file. Make sure that the lyrics filename is the same as the music file name.
Audio Setup Page
- The Audio menu allows you to change the audio setup of the DVD.
- [Down mix] Set down mix to LT/RT, Stereo, V SURR.
- [Dual Mono] Set down Stereo, L-Mono, R-Mono or Mix-Mono.
- [Dynamic] Full 3/4, 1/2, 1/4, OFF
Panel Quality Setup
The video menu allows you to change the display properties of the DVD.
- [Sharpness] Adjusts the screen sharpness.
- [Brightness] Adjusts the screen brightness.
- [Contrast] Adjusts the screen contrast.
- [Saturation] Adjusts the screen saturation.
- [Hue] Adjusts the screen hue.
- [Aspect Ratio] Setup panel display to 16:9 or 4:3.
Preference Page
The preference menu option allows you to adjust the default DVD setting. (The
setting is only available when no media is inside the unit.) [TV Type) Set TV
Type to PAL, AUTO, or NTSC.
- [Audio) Set the default audio language.
- [Subtitle) Set the subtitle language.
- [Disc Menu) Set the disc menu language.
- [Parental) When setting a rating level, a password screen is shown. Follow the on-screen instructions. Do not forget your password.
- [Password) Enter the default password “8888” then set your password. [Default) Return the portable DVD to factory default beyond the maximum output of the speaker in sound effects processing.

The player can’t read discs | • Please clean the laser and DVDs with |
the alcohol first.
• Ensure the disc is in the right format for our DVD player. Our player doesn’t support Dolby, pirate, burnt and Blu-ray DVDs.
The player doesn’t work| • Make sure the power switch has been set to the ” ON ” position.
• Check connections to the AC adaptor or battery pack.
• Check the status of the indicator light. Under the premise of power connection, if it’s on, there is a problem with the motherboard; if it’s off, there is a problem with the motherboard or power adapter.
Picture is distorted| • The disc might be damaged. Try another disc.
• It is normal for some distortion to appear during forward or reverse scanning.
Remote controller doesn’t work| Replace the battery (AAA battery). All
buttons fail: A problem with the remote controller or receiver.
Note: The remote controller needs to be aimed directly at the front of the
Video Player, within 8 m and 30 degrees.
