Getting Started
1. Set up your refrigerator
- Remove tape and glue residue and clean surfaces before turning on the refrigerator.
- If you are using your refrigerator in a kitchen, we recommend you set your temperatures at 37˚F (3°C) for the fresh food compartment and 0˚F (-18°C) for the freezer. Allow 24 hours for unit to stabilize and reach the desired temperatures. After 24 hours, you can adjust the control as desired, allowing the temperature to stabilize.
Press +/— to adjust to the desired temperature setting inside the refrigerator and freezer compartments. °F/°C allows you to switch between Fahrenheit (°F) and Celsius (°C). Control display varies by model.
2. Keep your refrigerator fresh

3. Prime the water supply system for your PurePour™ Water Filter After installing your water and air filters, be sure to prime the water supply system before dispensing water for the first time. If you do not flush the system, the first glasses of water may be discolored or have an odd flavor.
- Hold a glass against the paddle for about 4 minutes to purge air from the system.
- Continue dispensing at least 1 full gallon (3.78 L) of water and discard.
We recommend replacing filters at least once every 6 months.

- Check for expired food items and remove them promptly.
- Avoid overloading the refrigerator to allow proper air circulation.
3. Priming the water supply system for PurePourTM Water Filter:
Follow these steps to prime the water supply system:
- Refer to the user manual for specific instructions on priming the water supply system for the water filter.
- Ensure the water filter is correctly installed before priming.
- Flush the system with water as per the guidelines to remove any air bubbles or impurities.

My refrigerator is making unfamiliar sounds. Is this normal?
Your new, high-efficiency unit may introduce unfamiliar sounds. These sounds normally indicate your appliance is operating correctly. See the NORMAL OPERATING SOUNDS section of your online Use and Care Manual for more information.
How do I use the water dispenser?
Your water dispenser is located in the left hand side of the refrigerator. To use the dispenser simply hold your glass against the paddle and press to dispense water.
Why does my refrigerator seem to run continuously?
Your variable speed compressor is designed to run 100% of the time except during the defrost cycle. At times it will run faster, such as after a defrost cycle.
