Installation Instructions

EmotivPRO on a Windows PC

1. Download the EmotivPRO software from the official website.
2. Locate the downloaded file and double-click to start the installation process.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions and select the installation path as C: Programme (x86) or choose a different path.
4. Click on “Next” to proceed with the installation.
5. Once the installation is complete, EmotivPRO will be installed on your Windows PC.

Install EmotivPRO on your PC or Mac

Install EmotivPRO on a Windows PC

1. Go to www.emotiv.com

2. Log in to your Emotiv ID by clicking “Log in” at the top right of the screen.

3. Go to the “My Account” drop-down menu in the top right corner of the screen and click on downloads.

4. Find Emotiv-Installer-Win in the list of available downloads and click “Download”. button next to it.

5. Open the downloaded Emotiv-Installer-Win-x64.exe.
   Install EmotivPRO using the default path C:\Program Files (x86) or specify another path. Click on Continue.

6. Select EmotivPRO from the application list.

   • Accept the User License Agreement and click Next

7. The installer will download EmotivPRO

8. Once the installation is complete, click Close to exit the installer.

Install EmotivPRO on a Mac

1. Go to www.emotiv.com

2. Log in to your Emotiv ID by clicking “Log in” at the top right of the screen.

3. Go to the “My Account” drop-down menu in the top right corner of the screen and click on downloads.

4. Find Emotiv Installer Mac in the list of available downloads and click Download. button next to it.

5. Open the downloaded Emotiv-Installer-Mac.dmg
   Install EmotivPRO to the default path Users/Applications/EmotivApps or specify one other way. Click on Continue.

6. Select EmotivPRO from the application list.

   • Accept the User License Agreement and click Next

7. The installer will download EmotivPRO.

8. Once the installation is complete, click Close to exit the installer.

Please note: Your Mac may ask you to install apps from unidentified developers to allow Emotiv Installer to run. To permit Emotiv Installer to install on your Mac, click Right-click the installer and select “Open” from the menu. A popup will appear on your screen will appear asking for permission to open the Emotiv installer. Click Open.
