Installation and connection

Installation planning

  • The water features can be installed submerged and are also suitable for dry installation.
  • With submerged installation, the nozzle must protrude at least 3.2 in (8 cm) from the water.
  • Operate the pump only when it is covered with at least 4 in (10 cm) of water. Otherwise, it may draw air.

Fitting the water feature

  • Mount the unit on a firm ground, e.g. sidewalk slab. (The assembly material is not included in the scope of delivery.)
  • Ensure a safe, horizontal position.

Fitting the pump
NOTE
If the pump is used for conveying excessively muddy water, the impeller unit will be subject to increased wear and will require earlier replacement.
▶ Thoroughly clean the pond or pool before installing the pump.
▶  Install the pump at a raised level above the bottom of the pond. This reduces intake of muddy water.

  • Install the pump housing horizontally on a firm, mud-free surface. Ensure that the pump housing is securely positioned.
  • Operate the pump only when it is covered with at least 4 in (10 cm) of water. Otherwise, it maydraw air.

Connecting the hose

  • For optimal water arches, we recommend hose lengths between 6.6 and 9.8 ft (2 and 3 m).

Operation

The control box is operated by radio via a 2-channel hand-held transmitter. The hand-held transmitter has a range of max. 260 ft (80 m). Obstacles between hand-held transmitter and control box, a low battery in the hand-held transmitter or electro-magnetic radiation of electrical equipment will impair the range. When the control box is switched on (power plug inserted), the hand-held transmitter can be used to sequentially select 4 pre-programmed water feature images. After switching on the unit, program 1 is automatically activated.

  • Button 1: Selecting the next program.
  • Button 2: Selecting the previous program.
