lubricated
Lifting force very low| Air in the system, Low oil level, Moving parts not sufficiently
lubricated

Disposal

When disposing of the product, contact your local retailer or recycling center. Do not dispose of it through municipal collection sites or regular household waste to protect the environment. Dispose of hydraulic oils through hazardous waste collection sites.

Technical Data

The technical specifications of the SUV Trolley Jack are listed under the product specifications section above.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I ensure safe operation of the trolley jack?

A: Follow all safety notices and guidelines provided in the user manual. Ensure proper placement and secure positioning of the trolley jack before operation.

Q: What should I do if the lifting arm does not function correctly?

A: Check for possible causes such as the release valve not being fully closed, air in the system, low oil level, overfilled oil reservoir, or insufficient lubrication of moving parts. Refer to the fault correction section for detailed troubleshooting steps.

Safety notices

  • Please carefully read the operating instructions before using the trolley jack. Keep the operating instructions and pass these on to other users or future owners.
  • Do not use the trolley jack in the following situations:
  • outdoors in frost / rain in severe conditions (e.g. very cold or very hot weather, when exposed to strong magnetic radiation and similar situations)
  • along with explosive substances, mines and similar situations.
  • when lifting loads containing the following materials, among others: molten metal, acid, radioactive material or loose/not firmly connected goods and similar situations in contact with food and similar situations on ships and similar situations.
  • Never use the trolley jack to lift persons. Do not use the trolley jack with people inside or leaning against the vehicle.
  • Only use the trolley jack on solid, level surfaces. Stability is not guaranteed on surfaces which are not solid or level and the load can shift/be damaged.
  • Always raise the vehicle with the handbrake engaged and also use wheel chocks to prevent the vehicle from rolling away.
  • Only raise the vehicle at the lifting points specified by the vehicle manufacturer. Always support the load at the middle of the saddle pad. If necessary, use suitable adapters to prevent damage to the lifting points on the vehicle. Observe the oper-ating instructions of the vehicle manufacturer.
  • The safety valve is correctly set at the factory and does not need to be adjusted.
  • Warning! The trolley jack is only intended to raise and lower a vehicle. Before carrying out inspections or repairs, the load must be supported by jack stands with the corresponding load rating. Never work under the raised load without additional supports! Never move the vehicle with the trolley jack.
  • Never exceed the max. load rating (2,500 kg) of the trolley jack. Overloading it can damage the trolley jack (due to overloading the mechanical parts) and personal safety will no longer be guaranteed.
  • In the event of an oil leak, discontinue use. Ensure no additional oil leaks and im-mediately absorb the leaked oil and dispose through designated facilities.
  • If the required manual force exceeds 400 N (approx. 40 kg), please have a second person assist you.
  • The user must keep an eye on the jack and the load during all movement.
  • If a malfunction occurs during use (seized lifting rod, valve/piston stuck), please contact a professional or customer service.
  • The condition of the markings on the trolley jack must be checked regularly and the markings must always correspond with the original markings.
  • Check the trolley jack for damages, oil leaks and corrosion before every use. Do not use the trolley jack if damaged. The trolley jack should be maintained and re-paired as specified by the manufacturer. Only use OEM spare parts. Maintenance and repairs must be carried out by qualified specialists.
  • If the trolley jack no longer lowers as intended, be sure to secure the vehicle with jack stands to prevent accidentally lowering. Obtain a second trolley jack to raise the vehicle enough to safely remove the defective trolley jack. Seek professional help if you are unsure.
  • Do not alter or modify the trolley jack in a way which will adversely affect its com-pliance with standard EN 1494:2000 + A1: 2008.

Intended use

  • The trolley jack is only suitable to raise and lower loads (vehicles) up to a maximum weight of 2,500 kg!
  • The trolley jack is not suitable to permanently hold and transport loads!

Operation

Raising the vehicle:

  1. park your vehicle on a solid, level surface.
  2. Chock the vehicle’s wheels.
  3. Roll the trolley jack under the vehicle to be raised, below the lifting points desig-nated for the trolley jack (note the specifications of the vehicle manufacturer). If necessary, you can remove the height adapter from the bracket at the left side of the trolley jack and insert it in the saddle (Fig. 2). This increases the lifting height by 90 mm.
  4. Turn the release valve to the right to close. Use the jack handle to do so (see Fig. 1).
  5. Insert the jack handle, pin facing up, into the socket on the piston assembly and turn to lock the jack handle in place.
  6. Repeatedly move the jack handle up and down. This pumping motion raises the lifting arm.
  7. To use the quick lift function, insert the jack handle in the socket at the right side of the trolley jack and move the handle back and forth once.

Lowering the vehicle:

  1. open the release valve, turning anti-clockwise (see Fig. 1).
  2. When the vehicle is lowered all the way, remove the trolley jack out from under the vehicle.

Maintenance / Cleaning

  • Visually inspect and check the function before every use, BEFORE raising loads with the trolley jack!
  • Clean the trolley jack with a dry rag or cloth.
  • Regularly lubricate moving trolley jack parts (e.g. with spray lubricant).
  • Check the piston and plunger for signs of corrosion.
  • Clean the affected areas with a cloth dipped in oil.
  • IMPORTANT: Always store the trolley jack in the lowered position!
  • Regularly check the oil level.

Checking the oil level / adding oil

  • Maintenance must be carried out on an oil-proof surface. Be careful not to spill oil. In the event of an oil spill, absorb immediately and safely dispose through designated facilities.
  • Turn the drain valve ANTI-clockwise and lower the arm completely. If necessary, apply some pressure to the saddle.
  • Remove the oil plug.
  • Add enough oil until the oil level is just below the rim, do not overfill!
  • Do not mix different types of hydraulic oils, always use new oil! Recommended viscosity: SAE10
  • If the trolley jack has not been used for more than 1 year, change the hydraulic oil. Do not allow dirt or foreign objects to enter the hydraulic system!

Releasing pressure

  • Release the pressure from the trolley jack after every transport.
  • Open the release valve by turning it ANTI-clockwise.
  • Use the jack handle a few times (approx. 8x, full lift).
  • Close the release valve, turning CLOCKWISE.
  • Pump until the lifting arm is fully extended and pump a few more times to bleed air.
  • Open the release valve, turning ANTI-clockwise and allow the arm to lower. If nec-essary, push the arm down.
  • Then close the release valve and check if the arm can be moved properly.
  • You may need to repeat the above steps a few times to bleed all air from the sys-tem.
