The wheels (11) on the frame (7) and on the rear axle with brake (8) are preassembled on delivery. The following assembly instructions describe how to remove and reassemble the wheels and how to replace damaged parts with original replacement parts.
Two open-end wrenches (not included) are required to assemble the wheel tree.

  1. Lay the frame ( 7 ) with the socket for the lower tube (without plug) ( 3 ) on a stable surface so you can easily access the fork near the front
  2. Place the wheel ( 11 ) centered between both branches of the
  3. Slide the wheel between the frame and fasten it with the front axle (5) , two washers (thin, 20 mm) (6) , and a nut (ø 9 mm) (14) (see B ).

The frame is now fully assembled.

  1. Lay the rear axle with brake (8) flat on a working Make sure you can easily access both ends of the rear axle with brake.
  2. Attach a wheel (11) to the journal on the rear axle with brake (see C )
  3. Fasten the wheel with one washer (thick, 20 mm) (15) and a nut (ø 9 mm) (14).
  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 on the other end of the rear axle with

The connecting tube is now fully assembled.

A single screw connection is used to assemble all preassembled modules. Proceed as follows:

  1. Pick up the preassembled frame ( F).

Lay the frame (7) on a stable surface so that you can easily access the front wheel; the wheel may not rest on the surface.

  1. Insert the threaded pins on the frame through the holes on the rear axle with brake (8) and through the holes on the connecting tube (18).
  2. Place one washer (thick, 20 mm) (15) each on the threaded pins and tighten them with nuts (ø 9 mm / M8) (14).

Make sure the brake (22) is on the correct side (see Fig. F and G ).

  1. Place one spacer bushing (13) each between the connecting holes on both sides of the modules (above and below, see G ).
  2. Insert one screw (ø 9 mm) (12) each through the spacer bushings and secure the modules with washers and
  3. Make sure that the wheel tree is secure and

All components are now assembled and the wheel tree is fully assembled.

Use of the wheel tree

Prepare the wheel tree for loading

Before loading the wheel tree with rims or rims with tires, always check the product.

  • Make sure that all parts of the wheel tree are assembled and
  • In particular, make sure that the stopper (21) is correctly It prevents the wheel tree from tipping over when loaded.

Mount the handle to aid in maneuvering the loaded wheel tree. Proceed as follows.

  1. Pick up the handle (16) and attach it to the connecting tube (18) that sticks up from the connecting tube
  2. Screw the clamp screw (17) into the connecting tube (hand lever) and turn the screw connection until the handle sits securely on the connecting tube (hand lever).

You can now maneuver the wheel tree. Use the handle to do so.

In order to use the wheel tree to store rims and rims with tires, additional assembly steps are necessary.

  1. Insert the lower tube (without plug) (3) into the locating hole on the frame (7) and fasten it with a screw (ø 9 mm) (9) and nut (10 mm) (10).
  2. Insert a locking pin (4) into the lowest pair of holes on the lower tube (without plug).
  3. Attach a rest (2) to the lower tube (without plug).

Make sure that the lower flange of the rest clicks into the two grooves on the locking pin.
This prevents the locking pin from falling out of the pair of holes on the lower tube (without plug).
The wheel tree is now prepared for loading with rims / rims with tires.
Locking the brake in the locked position is another necessary step in preparing the wheel tree for loading. Proceed as follows:

  1. Make sure the brake is working correctly (22).
  2. Swing the brake lever inward toward the connecting tube (18). The brake ready for use when the locking pin (4) on the brake clicks into a hole on the wheel (11).
  3. To do this, move the wheel tree until the locking pin clicks into place in the When you swing the brake lever outward toward the wheel, the locking pin on the brake disengages from the wheel and you can move the wheel tree freely.
  4. Lock the brake in the locked position before loading the wheel Make sure that the locking pin on the brake clicks into place in the wheel.

The wheel tree is now secured. You can begin loading the product.

Warning!

Risk of accident and injury!

When loaded improperly, the wheel tree improperly may tip over, posing a risk of accident and injury. Prevent the risk of the product tipping over by heeding the following instructions when loading rims / rims with tires:

  • Only load the wheel tree when it is standing on an even and stable
  • Make sure only to load the wheel tree when the brake is clicked into place in the locked
  • Always begin loading from the lowest
  • Heed the maximum permissible load (Max. load 100 kg, evenly distributed; max. 25 kg per rest)

The wheel tree is now secured and ready for loading. Proceed as follows:

  1. Lift the rim / rim with tire onto the lowest rest (2). Make sure that the outer side of the rim is
  2. Guide the rim’s center cap bore over the lower tube (without plug) (3) and place the rim on the rest, with its contact surface facing
  3. Pick up the locking pin (4) and insert it into the nearest higher pair of Heed the width of the tires when selecting a pair of holes. There are two different rows of holes to choose from.

The rows of holes are offset to one another by 90° and labeled:

  • 145 mm × 220 mm, suitable for tire widths of 220 mm,
  • 225 mm × 255 mm, suitable for tire widths of 255 mm.
  1. Attach a rest to the lower tube (without plug). Make sure that the lower flange of the rest clicks into the two grooves on the locking
  2. Lift the next rim / rim with tire onto the second Follow the instructions under step 1.
  3. Attach the end tube with plug (1) to the lower tube (without plug).
  4. Follow steps 2 to 4 to continue

The wheel tree is now loaded.

The wheel tree is an important aid in the proper storage of valuable rims / rims with tires that are not currently in use.

In addition to the instructions in this manual, also heed the following notes on the proper storage of rims and wheels.

  • Thoroughly clean the rims / rims with tires after removing them from your Remove any residue from the inside of the rims. To do so, use mild soapy water and a soft sponge, as well as clear water to rinse.
  • Prevent corrosion on rims and the wheel tree by allowing rims / rims with tires to fully Otherwise, condensation may form and lead to corrosion on rims and the wheel tree.
  • Before storage, carefully check all rimes and tires for signs of damage and If you detect any damages, e.g. foreign objects in tires, low tread, tears, brittleness, or deformation, it is imperative to have a professional check and repair the rims and tires. Do not store damaged rims and tires.
  • Mark the rims / rims with tires using the colored tire markings from the accessory kit (23) according to the printed markings (e.g. “front left” and “back right”). Fasten the tire markings using a band to each
  • Park the wheel tree loaded with rims / rims with tires at a dark, dry, and frost-free The ideal storage temperature is between +10 °C and +30 °C.
  • Before using the rims / rims with tires after storage, check them for signs of damage and

 Please note! Risk of damage!

Improper use of the wheel tree may result in damage to the product.

  • Do not use any aggressive cleaners, brushes with metal or nylon bristles as well as sharp or metallic cleaning items such as knives, hard scrapers, They may damage the product surfaces.
  • Clean the wheel tree exclusively with a moist cloth and a mild cleaning
  • After cleaning, fully dry the wheel tree with a soft, dry
  • Check the wheel tree regularly (at least once every six months) for Wipe down any affected areas with a slightly greased cloth.
  • Make sure to grease the bearings
  • Do not expose the wheel tree to weather
  • It is recommended to store the wheel tree in the original packaging for periods of disuse
