EXPERT4HOUSE SD107 Photoelectronic Smoke Detector
PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
This product named Photoelectric detector(hereinafter called detector) detects the smoke by a couple of infrared diodes. The principle of detecting is granule in the smoke can reflect infrared light. Infrared diodes are placed in the special chamber. The chamber can shield external light but doesn’t affect the smoke in it. While having no smoke, the diode can receive very weak infrared light. When the smoke enters the chamber, the diode can receive more and more light, when the smoke attains a certain density, the detector can give out an alarm signal.
To reduce the interference and lower power consumption, the emitting circuit adopts the pulse signal. The detector adopts a special structure design and ASIC has dustproof, mothproof, and anti-outside light interference features, etc. The detector is suitable for detecting the smoke in a house, shop, hotel, restaurant, office building, school, bank, library, computer house, storehouse, etc.

Installation Instructions
- Connect the power line and the signal line to the mounting base (1 for +12V contact, 2 for cathode, 3 and 4 for N.C. Contact).
- Select a proper place (normally mounted on the center of the ceiling), fix the mounting base, then put the detector into the base and turn it.
Product Usage
Follow these guidelines for optimal performance and safety:
- Do not install the detector under extreme environmental conditions.
- Ensure there is no block within 0.5m from the detector.
- Maintain a distance of more than 1.5m between the detector and sources of wind flow.
- Keep a distance of more than 0.5m between the detector and walls.
- Ensure the distance between detectors is less than 15m.
- Horizontally install the detector; if installed slantingly, keep the angle less than 45 degrees.
- Clean the detector with a soft brush every six months to ensure sensitivity and product life. Remember to switch off the power before cleaning.
- Take necessary precautions for safety as product performance may be affected by environmental changes, electric disruptions, or tampering.
Notice
Please adhere to the installation and usage instructions provided to ensure
the effective operation of the Photoelectronic Smoke Detector.
- The detector can not be installed in a worse environment. E.g. coldest, hottest, dusty, do not move away the dustproof cover until use the detector indeed.
- Make sure that there is no block within 0.5m from the detector.
- Keep the distance between the detector and the source of wind flow more than 1.5m.
- Keep the distance between the detector and the wall more than 0.5m.
- Make sure the distance between detectors is less than 15m. The distance between the detector and the corner must be less than half of the one between the detectors.
- Horizontally install the detector. I have to be installed slantingly, please keep the angle less than 45 degrees)
- Please clean the detector with a soft brush per six months to ensure the sensitivity and life of the product. Pay attention to switching off the power before cleaning.
- For various reasons, including, but not limited to changes in environmental conditions, electric disruptions, and tampering, the product may not perform as expected.
- The user is advised to take all necessary precautions for his/her safety and the protection of his/her property.
