GENERAL WARNINGS
Meaning of the warning indications in the manual
DANGER: Indicates situation of imminent danger that, if not avoided,
could cause serious injuries or even death. The use of this term is limited to
the most extreme situations.
ATTENTION: Indicates a potentially dangerous situation that, if not
avoided, could cause serious injuries (and in extreme cases death).
WARNING: Indicates a potentially dangerous situation that, if not
avoided, could cause minor or moderate injuries to people or to the appliance.
Moreover, it indicates incorrect operating procedures to the user.
Warnings related to safety essential before use
This product is intended for a domestic use only.
Carefully read the instructions in this booklet, as they provide important information about safe installation, use and maintenance. Keep this booklet with care for future reference.
- Before using the appliance, make sure that it is in perfect working order from a mechanical standpoint. The motor body, the other components and the accessories should report no scratches or parting. The sheath and the plug of the power cord should report no scratches or parting. If so, immediately unplug the feeder from the mains outlet and take the appliance to an authorised Customer Service Centre for necessary checking.
- All packing elements (plastic bags, styrofoam, nails , etc.) must not be left in the range of children or of people with reduced physical, sensory or mental faculties as they are potential sources of danger.
This appliance can be used by children of 8 years of age or more and by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental faculties as well as people without the necessary experience or knowledge of it ONLY if monitored by someone responsible for their safety or if they’ve been educated about the safe use of the appliance and if they are aware of the risks originating from an improper use.
Children must not use the appliance as a toy and must not either clean or use the appliance alone unless they’re of 8 years of age or more and they’re assisted by an adult.
Keep children less than 8 years old away from the appliance and form the power cord.
- Before starting it make sure that the mains voltage corresponds to the one indicated on the rating label. The electrical data are on the charger.
- Before inserting the plug in the power socket and the connector in the appliance body socket, make sure the start switch (2) was pressed until the appliance turns off.
- For your safety, we recommend to power the appliance by means of a differential circuit-breaker (RCD) with an operating current of no more than 30 mA.
- Should the charger socket and the charger plug be incompatible with each other, have the socket replaced with an appropriate one by professionally qualified personnel. He, in particular, shall also make sure that the socket wires section is suitable with to the power absorbed by the appliance. Generally, chargers, multiple sockets and / or extension cables should not be used. If required, only simple or multiple adapters and extensions according to current safety regulations should be used, being careful not to exceed the current capacity limit indicated on the adapter and extensions.
- Make sure that the electrical system is equipped with a circuit breaker (life-saving kind).
- The use of any electric appliance involves compliance with certain basic rules. In particular:
- never touch the appliance with wet or damp hands;
- never use the appliance with bare feet;
- never pull the power cord or the appliance to remove the plug from the wall socket;
- never leave the appliance outdoors where it can be exposed to the weather conditions (rain, sun, etc.);
- never let children or disabled persons use the appliance unattended.
- Turn off the appliance and do not tamper with it in any way if it becomes faulty and/or operates in an incorrect way. Repairs must only be carried out by a customer service centre authorized by the manufacturer. Always insist on genuine spare parts. Failure to comply with this recommendation could impair the safety of the appliance.
- Should you decide to stop using an appliance of this type, remember to render it unusable by cutting off the power cable after having removed the plug from the power socket. Also make sure that all parts of the appliance liable to constitute a danger are made harmless, particularly for children who could decide to use an old appliance as a toy.
- Do not leave the appliance unattended while it’s functioning.
The electric shocks danger is still present, even if the appliance is off. Always disconnect it from the socket when not using it.

Never submerge the motor body in water or other liquids.

Do not leave the appliance exposed to atmospheric agents like rain, sun, frost, etc.
This appliance must be stored exclusively in closed environments. -
Do not use the appliance in too dusty environments.

NEVER use the appliance if the suction system is obstructed or without the filters. Clean the filters regularly.
Do not use the appliance in environments filled with gas. Explosion danger.
Do not aspirate inflammable, explosive or corrosive substances.
Do not aspirate hot objects, cigarette ends or ash still on fire, etc.
Do not aspirate toxic substances (example: bleach, ammonia, plungers, etc.).
Do not aspirate toner (for laser printers, copiers, etc.); fire and explosion
risk!
Do not aspirate materials like gypsum, cement, etc.; the filtering system may
clog.
Do not point the suction hose against ears, eyes, hair and, in general,
against people or animals.
Do not obstruct the suction grids and the air outlet ones. Make sure that all
of the suction grids are free from dust, lint, hair and everything that can
reduce the air flux.
Do not aspirate liquids and damp or wet substances.
Do not aspirate sharp objects (screws, nails, ect.), building materials, etc.

Clean the appliance using only water.
Do not use trichloroethylene, solvents or abrasive detergents. -
Do not place the appliance next to a heat source (ovens, heating appliances or hot radiators).

Do not expose the batteries to a temperature higher than 40°C.

Do not disassemble the vacuum cleaner when it’s working.
-
Should the feeder cord be damaged or the feeder be inoperative, use only the feeder model supplied by the manufacturer and contact the nearest authorized service centre.

Use the appliance ONLY as it’s described in this manual.
-
Use ONLY the accessories indicated in this manual.
Be very careful when using the appliance on not flat surfaces (stairs, stools, etc.).
- Use the appliance in well enlightened zones.
- Store the appliance indoor in a zone without moisture.
- Possible repairs must be performed only by specialists which have been supplied with original spare parts by the manufacturer.
To repair the appliance by yourself can be extremely dangerous.
This appliance should be destined only for the purposes for which it has been explicitly designed, namely as a vacuum cleaner. Every other use has to be considered improper and for this reason dangerous and it could cause electrical shocks, wounds or fire. The manufacturer cannot be held liable for eventual damages resulting from improper, wrong and unreasonable uses.
In case of problems on the appliance, please contact the authorized assistance centres. Avoid trying to repair the appliance by yourself. Any repair intervention on the appliance carried out by unauthorized personnel automatically invalidates warranty even if its duration has not come to an end.

PREPARING THE APPLIANCE
At the appliance first use, remove it from its packaging and make sure that all of the components indicated in the previous pages of this manual are present. If not, please refer to the retailer.
ACCESSORIES ASSEMBLY

Inset the end of the extension tube (8) in the air intake fitting (20). (Fig.F2)

Insert the accessory to be used on the other end of the extension tube (8). (Fig.F3)
If desired, the accessory you want to use can be connected directly without using the extension (8).
Do not use the appliance if the filtering systems are not placed correctly or if they are dirty or damaged.
PREPARING THE APPLIANCE
ACCESSORIES USE
Extension (8)
- When it’s connected to the ergonomic handle allows to aspirate medium-sized debris even in hardly reachable points (for example: under low furniture).
Brush (11)
- To clean hard floors, parquet, etc.
2 positions nozzle (14a)
- To aspirate in corners and in fissures.
Ideal for radiators, blinds, grids, shutters, libraries, delicate surfaces, etc. cleaning.
Pencil brush
To aspirate on delicate surfaces without ruining them.
Ideal to aspirate on books, furniture, computers, TVs, etc.
Upholstery vent
To aspirate on textile surfaces (couches, armchairs, car seats, etc.).
Precision nozzle (14b)
- To aspirate in corners and fissures.
Ideal to clean radiators, blinds, grids, shutters, etc.
In order to guarantee an appliance optimal functioning, always keep the filter (15) clean and efficient.
BATTERY CHARGING
HOW TO CHARGE
Only use the charger supplied with the appliance. Do not charge the appliance if the temperature is lower than 0°C or higher than 40°C. Recommended recharge environment temperature: 5÷35°C Using an universal charger cancels the warranty.
a. Before using the vacuum cleaner for the first time, the battery must
be entirely charged.
b. During charging, the appliance is switched off.
The battery charge decreases during use.
c. Place the vacuum cleaner next to a power socket.
d. Connect the charger (12) to the power socket. (Fig.F4)
e. Insert the male connector (20) in the socket on the charge base
(9) or directly in the motor body (4) socket (5). (Fig.F4)
f. Make sure that the connector (20) is inserted in the appliance
body socket (5). After a few seconds the LEDs turn on displaying battery
charge status.
Note:
- The vacuum cleaner can remained connected to the charger permanently without any risk. The charger slightly heats up: this is a perfectly normal phenomenon.
- To charge the vacuum cleaner again after use is advised so that it’s always available, completely charged and so that you could benefit optimally from its aspiration performances and from its autonomy.
- However, it’s preferable to disconnect it in case of a long absence (holidays…) as an autonomy decrease caused by self-discharge could occur.
- If the appliance is not used for more than a month, fully charge it and then disconnect the power adapter. Repeat the operation at least every 3 months.
- When the battery is almost completely empty, proceed to recharge it. Avoid draining the battery completely.
Do not attempt to disassemble the appliance and / or batteries. It’s dangerous !
USE AS ELECTRIC BROOM

Remove the male connector (20) from the socket (5). (Fig.F5)

Place one foot on the brush (11) and hold the handle (1).
Pull the latter towards yourself to adjust inclination as desired. -
Press the ON/OFF switch (2) to start the motor.
-
Press the -/+ switch (2a) to adjust the speed.
-
Press the ON/OFF switch (2) to turn the motor off.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
ALWAYS disconnect the power plug from the socket before performing maintenance
and/ or cleaning operations.
- For the appliance external parts cleaning use a damp cloth avoiding using abrasive detergents.
Never submerge the motor body (4) in water or other liquids.
Never wash the motor body (4) using a water jet.
- The appliance aspiration capacity depends on the air filtering systems conditions too. Clean the container (6) after every use. Clean the filters regularly.
Cleaning the container (6)
- Place yourself on a rubbish collector.
- Press the button (6a) to open the cover (25). Empty the container (6). (Fig.F6)
- Correctly close the container (6).
“Filter” cleaning (15)
- Remove the filter from the support and discard it in a waste container (bin, etc.). Clean with a jet of air being careful not to damage it.
Do not use the appliance if the filter is damaged.
Do not use the appliance without the filter (15).
- Clean the filter (15) with a soft brush or water. Also clean the container (6).
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Wait until the filter (15) and the container (6) are completely dry before reassembling.
- Re-assemble the filter (15) and the container (6) correctly.
- Place the container, complete with the filter, on the motor body (4) hooking the lower part first.
- Push the upper part of the container (6) against the motor body (4) until you hear the hooking ”click”.
Brush (11) cleaning
a. The rotating brush could collect yarns, hair, etc. through its
bristles during use. Clean it removing dirt from the bristles.
b. If necessary, it is possible to remove the rotating brush, releasing
the retainer with the aid of a coin.
c. After it has been cleaned, re-position it correctly and close the
retainer with the aid of a coin.
Power cord replacement
- If the electric cord is damaged, please refer to a certified electrician for its repair.
Neither provide for its replacement nor for its repair on your own.
Batteries substitution
- This appliance contains Lithium batteries which, for safety reasons, are accessible solely to a qualified technician. If the battery doesn’t manage to maintain its charge anymore, it must be removed. To replace the batteries, please refer to the nearest authorized assistance centre.

Appliance disposal
- Do not dispose the appliance without previously having removed the batteries.
INCONVENIENCES AND POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS
Repairs must be performed exclusively by specialized technicians and with original parts.Repairing the appliance on your own could represent a danger for the user.

ENVIRONMENTAL DISCLOSURE / DISPOSAL AT END-OF-LIFE
“In compliance with the directive 2011/65/EU related to waste disposal (RoHS) and with the Directive 2012/19/EU (RAEE) on electronical and electric equipment waste” the crossed out wheelie bin symbol on the equipment nameplate or on its batteries, indicates that the product and the batteries at the end of their useful life must be collected separately from other waste. The user should therefore, take the product to an appropriate recycling centre for electrical and electronic waste, or hand it to the dealer when buying a new equipment. Dead batteries must be removed from the product, separately collected and delivered free of charge to an appropriate batteries collection centre provided by Municipalities and by shopping centres. For more information please contact the Local Council or the Municipality. Proper separate collection for the deliver of the equipment to recycling, to treatment and environmentally compatible disposal helps avoid possible negative effects on the environment and health and promotes the reuse and/or recycling of materials that make up the equipment. Illegal dumping of the product by the user involves the application of administrative sanctions provided by current laws and regulations. Packaging waste must be differentiated and taken to appropriate collection centres according to the current laws on the territory on waste separate collection.
