Precautions

  1. Installation and servicing should only be done by trained and qualified service personnel due to electrical hazards.

Mounting

  1. Install the Connect Module on a DIN rail or directly on a wall using the bracket (to be ordered separately).
  2. To lock the DIN clip to the Connect Module, use the screws provided to the back of the Connect Module.
  3. To remove the wire, lift the flap up and pull the wire out.
  4. To remove the Connect Module from the DIN rail, hold it firmly and pull upwards to separate from the DIN rail.

PRECAUTIONS

  • Install as per all state and local electrical codes.
  • Do not mount the device in areas that expose the device to elements that could be beyond the operating temperatures.
  • Do not mount directly in sunlight or any heating source

MOUNTING

  1. Connect Module can be installed either on a DIN rail or directly to a Wall using the bracket (to be ordered separately). To lock the DIN clip to the Connect Module, use the screws provided (item-3, Fig-1a) to the back of the Connect Module. The DIN clip is spring-loaded and would snap on the DIN rail. To fix it to the wall bracket, use the screws provided (item-1, Fig-1b).Carrier-7C-SN-C4X-X-HyperStat-Split-fig \(2\)
  2. To wire the Connect module, remove the insulation of the cable for about 7mm (liitle over ¼ of an inch) lift the flap, insert the wire and push the flap down. Try pulling the wire out to make sure its firmly snapped in place. Refer to Figure 2 for details.
  3. To remove the wire, lift the flap up and pull the wire out.
  4. To remove the connect module from the DIN rail, hold the connect module firmly and pull it upwards. This will cause the spring to expand and the Connect module can be separated from the DIN rail.
