- If you sync (reconnect) the remote and the lights are on the bright white (W) mode, double click the “W” button to toggle back to the standard mode/hues.
- The “W” button toggles the color wheel (and the “modes”) from a standard hue to a bright white shade of the current color. Click the “W” button once to enter/ exit that mode.
- Touching anywhere on the color wheel will exit out of whatever “mode” you might be on. Pressing the “MODE +” or “MODE -” buttons will then start you at mode #1.
- You can navigate the “modes” from #1 to #10 sequentially, but you cannot skip numbers or go directly from mode #10 to mode #1 (or vice versa). You have to click the “MODE -” button until you reach mode #1.
- Each mode can be individually customized with preferred speed and brightness.
NOTE: To ensure proper operation of the automatic function, ensure the light sensor is mounted in a location that allows for direct sunlight and shielded from all night time sources of light, such as floodlights.
Mounting The Timer
- Mount the timer onto a wall near a GFCI receptacle with the timer’s light sensor (B) facing outward.
- Install a screw (not included) into a wall. The nail or screw must extend at least 7/8 in. out from the wall and allowsthe timer to be hung 4.6 ft. above ground level.
- Hang the timer from the eyelet on the top right of the unit with the receptacle (D) facing downward so that moisture does not accumulate in the outlet.
- Plug the timer into a GFCI outlet.
