Product Usage Instructions
Starting a Meeting
To start a meeting, you can join a scheduled meeting, start an instant
meeting, join with a meeting ID, or join using Proximity Join. Follow the
steps outlined in the user guide for each method.
In-Meeting Controls
During a meeting, you can change viewing options, invite participants, end or
leave the meeting, mute/unmute, use reactions,share screen via HDMI or start
Whiteboard, control volume, and access more options. Utilize these controls
for a smooth meeting experience.
Adjusting Camera Settings and Neat Symmetry
On Microsoft Teams, adjust camera settings and utilize Neat Symmetry by
swiping from the right side of the Neat Board 50 towards the left. A slide-out
menu will appear with auto-framing options. Choose between Individuals, Group,
or Off.
Screen Sharing
You can share content via Cast or HDMI. Follow the steps outlined in the user
guide for each method. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on the Neat device for Cast
and, for MacBook users, enable Location Services for Microsoft Teams to use
Cast.
Microsoft Whiteboard
To use Microsoft Whiteboard, select Whiteboard on the screen of the Neat Board
50. Annotate and work on the whiteboard as needed.
To save and continue editing or sharing, select Start Meeting. You can add
participants and store the whiteboard in a user’s OneDrive account.

How do I adjust camera settings during a Microsoft Teams meeting?
To adjust camera settings, swipe from the right side of the Neat Board 50
towards the left to access auto-framing options. Choose between Individuals,
Group, or Off.
Can I share content wirelessly with the Neat Board 50?
Yes, you can share content wirelessly via Cast. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on
the Neat device and follow the steps outlined in the user guide for screen
sharing via Cast.
Start a meeting
Join and start a meeting
- To join a scheduled meeting: select Join from the list of scheduled meetings.
- To start an instant meeting: select Meet. A meeting will launch and a pop up will appear to invite participants into your meeting.
Join with meeting ID
Select More from the home screen.
- Select Join with Meeting ID.
- Enter meeting ID.
- Enter password if applicable.
Click Join Meeting.
Join with Proximity Join
- Select Join from your Teams calendar on your laptop.
- Search for the Teams Room under room audio.
- Select Join now.

In-meeting controls
On Microsoft Teams you can adjust camera settings and utilise Neat Symmetry while in a meeting.
- Swipe with one finger from the right side of the Board 50 towards the left.
- A slide-out will appear with the auto-framing options.
- Choose between Individuals, Group, Off.
Screen sharing
Share content via Cast
- In the Teams desktop app, click on the three dots.
- When the dropdown menu appears, click on Cast.
- When a nearby Teams Room has been detected, click Next.
- Bluetooth must be enabled on Neat device to use Cast.
- If using a MacBook, enable Location Services for Microsoft
- Teams in the Security & Privacy settings.
- If there is an upcoming meeting, select Just cast or Cast and join to join from your laptop. If there is not an upcoming meeting, select Just cast. Then, click Next.
- Select the content to be shared. Then, click Cast.
Share content via HDMI
- Plug in your HDMI cable to your devices and screen sharing will begin.
If you tap Stop Sharing and leave the HDMI cable connected, you can start sharing again by tapping the Share button.
Walk up and whiteboard

On the screen of the Board 50, select Whiteboard.
A whiteboard will launch on the screen – annotate and work on the whiteboard as you need. -
To save the whiteboard, and later continue editing and/or share, select Start Meeting.
A pop up will appear showing the current participant in the room (Neat Board 50). -
Click Add Participants.

Use the search bar to invite a user to a call so the whiteboard is passed to that user account.
By inviting yourself or colleagues, the whiteboard will be stored in that users’ OneDrive account. To access, visit whiteboard.office.com.

- Join the meeting from your desktop Teams app.
- Tap Share from the desktop client in meeting menu.
- Select Microsoft Whiteboard.
