Caution: risk of fire flammable materials The refrigerant isobutene (R600a) is contained within the refrigerant circuit of the application, a natural gas with a high level of environmental compatibility, which is nevertheless flammable. During transportation and installation of the appliance, ensure that none of the components of the refrigerant circuit become damaged.

  • If the refrigerant circuit should be damaged:
    • Avoid opening flames and sources of ignition.
    • Thoroughly ventilate the room in which the appliance is situated.
  • Before using the Ice maker for the first time, please wait 2 hours after positioning it, and keep the transparent lid open for at least 2 hours.
  • Spring water is recommended over purified water to be used on this unit.
  • Ensure the voltage is compliant with the voltage range stated on the rating label, and ensure the earthing of the socket is in good condition.
  • Do not upend this product or incline it over a 45° angle.
  • To protect against risk of electric shock, do not pour water on cord, plug and ventilation, immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
  • Unplug the appliance after using or before cleaning.
  • Keep the appliance at least 3” (8 cm) from other objects to ensure good heat dissipation.
  • Do not use accessories which are not recommended by the manufacturer.
  • Do not use the appliance close by flames, hot plates, or stoves.
  • Do not switch on the power button frequently (ensure 5-minute interval at least) to avoid damaging the compressor.

  • To avoid contamination of food, please consider the following:
    • Opening the lid for long periods of time can cause a significant increase of the temperature in the compartments of the appliance.
    • Clean regularly surfaces that can come in contact with food and accessible drainage systems.
    • Clean the water tank if they have not been used for 48 h; flush the water system connected to a water supply if water has not been drawn for 5 days.
    • If the refrigerating appliance is left empty for long periods, switch off, defrost, clean, dry, and leave the door open to prevent mold developing within the appliance.

Warning

  1. During transportation, do not tilt the ice maker more than 45 degrees, do not reverse the ice maker. This may damage the compressor and the sealing system.
  2. Remove all packing materials, check the ice maker carefully and make sure that the ice maker, power cord and plug are normal.
  3. The ice maker should be on a level surface. To ensure sufficient ventilation, the distance of the back of ice maker to the wall should be at least 6” (15 cm), it should be away from the oven, radiator or other heat source.
  4. Make sure that the home voltage is consistent with the voltage indicated by the ice maker.
  5. Periodically check whether the filter screen of the water tank is blocked. Use a fine bristle brush to clean any debris that is clogging the filter screen of the water tank. After every 100 hours of machine operation, it is recommended to add citric acid and warm water to the upper water tank and soak for 2 hours. Then, turn on the cleaning function for 5 cycles. Then discharge the sewage and clean it again with clean water. Avoid water scale blockage causing abnormal operation of the entire machine.
  6. Before starting the cleaning function, it is necessary to add water to the upper and lower water tanks to max position, ensuring that the water levels in both the upper and lower water tanks reach max at the same time, as shown in the figure below.

OPERATING YOUR ICE MAKER

Unpacking Your Ice Maker

  1. Remove the exterior and interior packaging, and then check all the accessories are included. If any parts are missing, please contact our customer service.
  2. Remove all the tapes on the unit; take out the accessory parts inside.
  3. Clean the interior with lukewarm water and a soft cloth.
  4. Place your ice maker on a level counter table far from direct sunlight and other sources of heat (i.e.: stove, furnace, and radiator). Make sure that there is at least 6 inches between the back and sides of your ice maker with the wall.
  5. Allow one hour for the refrigerant fluid to settle down before plugging your ice maker in.
  6. The power plug must be accessible directly.

WARNING: fill with potable water only. Only use drinking water.

HOW TO START THE UNIT

  1. Open the lid and add water to the reservoir. The water should not exceed the MAX position. If the water exceeds the MAX position, the excess water will flow into the lower water tank.
  2. Plug in power (120V 60Hz), press the “ICE MAKING” button once. When the ice maker is full, the “ICE FULL” indicator light will go on and the ice maker will stop ice making. DO NOT unplug the unit when the ice basket is full. It will leak.
  3. Empty the ice basket. Once the basket is empty, the ice maker will start producing ice again.

CONTROL PANEL OPERATION AND FUNCTIONS

  • Water shortage indicator light/ice full indicator light = red.
  • Cleaning indicator light/ice making indicator light = white.
  • Preset time indicator light = blue.
  •  Standby mode: the LED display flashes. In standby mode, press the Ice Making button once to enter ice making mode, andthen press the Ice Making button again to return to standby mode. In standby mode, press the Clean button once to enter the cleaning mode. Press and hold down the Clean button for 3 seconds to return to standby mode.

ICE MAKING MODE
In ice making mode, press the ice-making button once to return to standby mode. After the ice making process has started, cleaning mode will be disabled. You need to press the Ice Making button again to return to standby mode. Pressing the Clean button from standby will enter the cleaning mode. The first batch of ice from a standstill will take about 8 minutes. The ice maker will pause once the ice basket is full. After the nugget ice is removed, the ice full indicator will disappear and the ice making mode resumes.

CLEANING MODE
In cleaning mode, the water flows from the upper water tank to the evaporator and back to the lower water tank (water circulation). After the water pump runs for 7 minutes, the cleaning mode is completed and enters standby mode. During cleaning mode operation, press and hold down the Clean button for 3 seconds to return to standby mode. (pressing the ice making button during cleaning mode cannot directly enter ice making mode, only when returning to standby mode can the ice making button be pressed again to enter ice making mode

PRESET

  • Press and hold down the Timer button for 2 seconds in standby mode, the time area “00:00” flashes, and press the ”+” or “-” button to set the start time.
  • The preset time is an interval, for example, 8:00 indicates that the ice maker will start making ice in 8 hours.
  • Press and hold down the Timer button for 2 seconds in standby mode, and the blue light of the Timer button will remain on. At this time, “00:00” will flash. You can adjust the countdown time by pressing TIMER (+) or TIMER (-). The time will be adjusted in 30 minute increments. After decreasing by 24:00 → 23:30 → 23:00 → 22:30 →… 09:30 → 09:00 →… 01:00 → 00:30 → 00:00 → 24:00, cycle in sequence. When TIMER (+) or TIMER (-) is pressed and held, the preset time number increases or decreases 4-5 times per second.
  • Adjust the countdown timer to your liking, then touch the Timer button, and the preset time number will flash 5 times. The blue light on the Timer button will go out, and the preset time will start counting down. The number will not flash, but the colon”:” will flash. When the preset time reaches 00:00, the preset time number will disappear, and ice making will start (the ice making indicator light will always be on), and the ice maker will start the ice making function.
  • If you press the Ice Making button when presetting the timer or when it is counting down, this will cancel the timer and the unit will begin making ice.
  • Pressing the Cleaning button will also circumvent the timer in the timer preset mode and the timer countdown.

    When the cleaning function is activated, the water tank is short of water, and the water shortage indicator light flashes. Cleaning is paused. After adding water to the water tank to max position, press the ice making button or press and hold down the Clean button for three seconds to exit the standby mode, and then press the Clean button again to start the cleaning function.

  5. Ice full state, the ice full light flashes.When the ice is full, the compressor stops working and there is an ice full alarm. You also cannot go to cleaning mode if the ice full light is on. The ice in the ice basket must be cleared before it can automatically return to ice making mode, switch to cleaning mode, or return to standby mode. Do not unplug the unit when the ice basket is full of ice. Remove the ice or let the ice melt before unplugging.

  6. Light button, the ice maker is powered on (standby mode). Press the light button once to keep the ice basket light on. Press the light button again to turn it off. In any state, the ice basket light can be turned on and off. After the light is turned on and on for 10 minutes, it will automatically turn off.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

CLEANING & USE GUIDANCE

  1. Clean the inner liner, ice basket, water tank and ice shovel frequently. When cleaning, unplug the unit and remove all ice and drain the water. Use a diluted solution of water and vinegar to clean the inside and the outside surface of the Ice maker. Rinse thoroughly before use.
  2. Keep ventilation openings in the appliance enclosure, or in the built-in structure, clear of obstruction. Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process, other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
  3. Reuse the ice maker after being idled for a period of time, it may not be able to pump enough water up for air blockage. In this case, the “ADD WATER” indicator light on, just repress ICE MAKING button to restart the ice maker.
  4. To ensure the cleanliness of ice, change the unused water in the reservoir at least once a day. If do not use for a long time, drain out all the water and clean the unit.
  5. If the compressor does not work due to lack of water, ice, power failure, etc, it will delay for 3 minutes to start up after restarted.
  6. Always use fresh water before starting ice production, either at initial installation or after a long shut-off period.

FAULT AND CODE INDICATION
ADD WATER : Under normal conditions, the “ADD WATER” indicator light is not on.When the “ADD WATER” indicator light turns red and flashes, it means that the water in the water tank is insufficient. The ice maker stops ice making or cleaning.

ICE FULL : When the ice reaches the maximum amount of the ice basket, the “ICE FULL” indicator flashes white, and the ice maker stops making ice. When it takes out the ice basket to get ice, and then places it back into its position, the ice maker automatically cancels the ice full indicator and returns to the normal working state.

ICE JAM IN ICE MAKING SYSTEM: The water shortage indicator light, ice full indicator light, cleaning indicator light, and ice making indicator light flash simultaneously, and the ice maker stops ice making. After working with the cleaning function for 40 minutes (manually running the cleaning function 6 times), or waiting for 4 hours at room temperature, the ice particles in the evaporator completely melt, and then pressing the “Ice Making” button to restart the ice maker to enter normal operation.

ABNORMAL COMMUNICATION ON THE CONTROL BOARD: In standby mode, after pressing the “Ice Making” button to start, the water shortage indicator light, ice full indicator light, and these two lights will flash simultaneously, indicating that the control board cable is broken or the cable is in poor contact. It is necessary to recheck and eliminate the root cause of the cable problem.

FREEZE WARNING
During the ice making process, if the water shortage indicator light, ice full indicator light, cleaning indicator light, and ice making indicator light flash simultaneously. At this point, it is a freezing alarm, and the power needs to be disconnected, reminding the user to wait for 4 hours until the ice inside the evaporator melts before restarting the power.

LIMITED MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY

This appliance is covered by a limited manufacturer’s warranty. For one year from the original date of purchase, the manufacturer will repair or replace any parts of this appliance that prove to be defective in materials and workmanship, provided the appliance has been used under normal operating conditions as intended by the manufacturer.

Warranty Terms:
During the first year, any components of this appliance found to be defective due to materials or workmanship will be repaired or replaced, at the manufacturer’s discretion, at no charge to the original purchaser. The purchaser will be responsible for any removal or transportation costs

Warranty Exclusions:
The warranty will not apply if damage is caused by any of the following:
