General care instructions
- Use mild liquid cleaning agents and water.
- Never use sharp or pointed objects when cleaning.
- Remove any substances containing solvents immediately.
Observe the following about empty, unheated houses in winter:
- Empty and dry the cistern.
- Pour 0.3–0.4 litres of antifreeze agent into the WC pan. In the case of Spira WCs, pour an additional 0.2 liters of antifreeze agent into the trap below the exposed cistern.
- To avoid evaporation, add standard cooking oil until the surface of the water is covered with a film of oil. Cling film can also be used as an alternative to cover the surface of the water.
Care instructions for actuators
- Use hot water and soap.
- Use a soft, damp cloth.
- Never use cleaning agents that are abrasive or may scratch the surface.
- Never use cleaning agents that contain chlorine or acid or that are corrosive.
Care instructions for sanitary ceramic appliances
- Use standard cleaning agents only in compliance with the respective manufacturer’s information.
- Ensure that the seat of the ceramic appliance or the urinal lid is opened or dismounted during the application time of cleaning agents.
