Installation Instructions

  3. For BMW i3 & i8 models, use the optional AMPIRE LDS-LX1-LVDS connection cable instead of the provided LVDS cables.
  4. Ensure DIP switch settings are correctly configured based on the monitor type and BMW model.
  5. Utilize wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality for enhanced connectivity.

Important Notes

  • Do not use the red ACC wire.
  • For voice control, connect the microphone as shown in the diagram.
  • Connect the original vehicle cable harness as indicated.

DIP Switch Settings

The DIP switches on the device are used to configure the monitor output and CAN-Bus protocol. Specific settings are provided for different monitor sizes and versions of NBT-EVO ID4.
