▶ Using in the car with a vehicle power cordVARON VT 1 Portable Oxygen
Concentrator - power cordConnect the input end of the car power cable to the car cigarette lighter, and the output end to the charging port of the oxygen concentrator. If the red light on the car power cord lights up, it means that the power supply is connected properly.
Required input: DC12~16.8V/5A.
▶ Using with an AC adapter (optional accessory)
VARON VT 1 Portable Oxygen Concentrator - power cord1Connect the AC adapter to an AC power cord firmly, plug it to the socket, and then connect its output end to the oxygen device.
Required input: AC100~240V 50/60Hz
4.2 Connect the Disposable Oxygen Inhaler (optional)
Securely connect the flared end of the disposable oxygen inhaler tube to the oxygen outlet of the device and wear the other end as shown below.
Note that the tube of the disposable oxygen inhaler should not be kinked or blocked, so as not to cause the equipment to alarm or to affect normal use.
If you need to purchase an oxygen inhaler, please contact the equipment provider or professional medical staff.
4.3 Start to Use
To start the device, press the “I” end of the power switch on the back of the device (as shown in Figure 2) downward. Then, gently press the On/Off Button on the front to turn on the machine. Press the Mode Button to select the oxygen  inhalation mode and use the Level Button to choose a suitable oxygen flow rate. Finally, put on the disposable oxygen inhaler to begin oxygen inhalation.
In Pulse Mode, the machine automatically releases oxygen when the user inhales, and the Breath Signal Light will flash. If the user pauses inhalation, the machine will withhold oxygen release. Additionally, after the user remains without  inhalation for more than 10 seconds, the machine will adjust to a mode releasing oxygen every 3 seconds until the user’s breathing signal is detected again, at which point it will return to the original oxygen delivery mode.
4.4 Charge the Battery (optional)

  • As shown in Figure 7, connect the AC adapter to charge the battery;
  • Refer to the battery installation method in Figure 4, perform the reverse operation to remove the battery. Then, connect the AC adapter following the guidance in Figure 7 for battery charging. The power indicator on the AC adapter  will illuminate in red, indicating that the battery is charging. If it turns green, it signifies that the battery is fully charged.

Precautions for Use

  1. Battery Charging
    • Due to transportation control and other reasons, the device’s battery only has enough power for testing or has no power at all when it leaves the factory. Therefore, before the first use, the device needs to be charged;
    •  The battery will only be charged when using the AC adapter; If the vehicle power cord is used, it can only supply power to the the device, and cannot charge the battery;
    •  The AC adapter and the vehicle power cord will share the same power outlet, so they cannot be used at the same time;
    •  When the battery of the device is less than 25%, the power indicator will flash. Please connect the power adapter or charger to power the device in time;
    • When the device is not working, the battery in the device is fully charged for about 4 hours.
    • When using in the car with the vehicle power cord, please turn on the car’s engine, and do not use the device when the engine is turned off to prevent the car battery from losing power. Only the vehicle power cord dedicated to this device can be used.

  2. Guidance for Use in Electromagnetic Environment
    In order to prevent this machine from being interfered with by the strong electromagnetic environment or interfering with other electrical products, please keep the product at least 30cm apart from other household appliances during use.

  3. Disassembly Warning
    Non-professional personnel shall not disassemble the oxygen concentrator. If the professional maintenance personnel needs the electrical schematic diagram of the product, please contact the manufacturer or the after-sales service.

  4. Use and Purchase of Disposable Oxygen Inhaler
    4.1 Connect the equipment to an oxygen inhaler for proper use.
    4.2 Ensure correct installation of the disposable oxygen inhaler and that the inhaler tubes are not kinked or blocked for accurate detection and delivery of pulsed oxygen.
    4.3 Only use an oxygen inhaler suitable for this device. Consult the equipment provider or medical professionals when purchasing to ensure proper equipment operation and user safety.

Maintenance

  1. Clean the Shell
    The outside of the machine should be wiped clean at least once a month. Cut off the power supply and then wipe it with a slightly damp cotton cloth or sponge. Be careful not to seep liquid into the cracks of the chassis.
    After cleaning, place the machine in a ventilated place for about 2 hours, and wait until the surface is completely dried before using.

  2. Clean the Disposable Oxygen Inhaler
    The oxygen inhaler should be cleaned once a week, and the nasal cannula on it should be cleaned after each use.
    Soak the inhaler into vinegar for about 5 minutes, and then rinse with clean water, or wipe with medical alcohol. It is recommended that the oxygen inhaler be replaced every 2 months of use. (Note: The inside of the oxygen inhaler tube should be kept dry.)

  3. Replace the Air Intake Filter PadVARON VT 1 Portable Oxygen Concentrator - Filter PadThis device is equipped with primary and secondary filter cotton that users can replace. The main function of these filters is to filter and adsorb dust and impurities from the air. Over time, the intake may become blocked, affecting  the oxygen production efficiency. Therefore, it is recommended to replace the filters every six months. In environments with high dust levels, consider replacing them quarterly.
    Note: Do not attempt to clean and reuse the filters, as  it may adversely affect the machine’s performance and lifespan.
    Replacement Procedure: As illustrated in Figure 8, push the filter window’s locking tab upward to unlock and simultaneously pull outward to remove the filter window. Take out the old filter cotton, then sequentially insert the secondary and primary filter cotton, and finally, reposition the filter window into place.

  4. Battery Maintenance
    If the machine is not used for a long time, it is necessary to charge it every three months to avoid deterioration of battery performance due to long-term low power or non-use. For each charge, charge to 25%- 50% will be fine.
    This operation is not required if the product is in normal use.
