Installation of the Torsion Spring in the Door

1. Ensure the door is in the open position.
2. Locate the torsion spring and carefully insert it into the designated slot on the door.
3. Apply gentle pressure to secure the spring in place.
4. Use a tool if necessary to assist in positioning the spring correctly.
5. Test the door to ensure smooth operation with the newly installed torsion spring.

Adjusting Door Bolt and Retaining Ring

1. Guide the door bolt back to its original position by applying moderate force.
2. Ensure the door bolt is securely in place before proceeding.
3. Replace the retaining ring by carefully aligning it and pressing it into position.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE INSTALLATION OF THE TORSION SPRING IN THE DOOR OF THE BULLERJAN FREE-FLOW FF17.

• First, remove the retaining ring on the door guide bolt.
• Now pull the bolt upwards out of its guide until you can insert the spring as shown in the picture.
• The spring is inserted between the door tabs with the cranked side facing upwards.
• The centre bracket of the spring must grip around the door frame.
• Use a little force to guide the door bolt back to its original position. Finally, replace the retaining ring.
• Spring is inserted.

Attention
The torsion spring always comes with a can of spray paint, as scratches can occur during installation.
