Safety Instructions
When using the toothbrush for the first time, it may cause itch or minor gum bleeds. This is normal when the gums are not accustomed to the efficient cleaning of an electric toothbrush. It is recommended to use custom mode when your gums are not used to it yet. Normally, gum bleeds will stop within one to two weeks. Stop using the toothbrush and consult a dentist if it persists.
WARNING
- Users undergoing orthodontics, dental repair, or dental implants should use the product under the guidance of their dentists.
- This toothbrush complies with the safety standards for electromagnetic devices. If you have any questions about using the device alongside pacemakers or other implanted devices, please consult a doctor or the manufacturer of the implanted device before use.
- This toothbrush is designed to clean teeth, gums, and tongue only.
- Do not use it for any other purposes. If you feel any discomfort or pain, stop using the toothbrush and consult your dentist.
- Do not immerse the charging dock in water or any other liquid.
- Do not plug the charging dock into an outlet when there is liquid on the plug.
- This toothbrush contains a built-in rechargeable battery, and should never be exposed to fire, nor charged, used, or stored in a high-temperature environment.
- Do not hit or drop the toothbrush. Stop using it if it has been damaged due to impact or dropping.
- Do not attempt to modify, disassemble, or repair the toothbrush by yourself.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
- Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children without supervision.
- This toothbrush is equipped with a built-in battery that cannot be removed or replaced. Do not disassemble or modify the battery by yourself.
- A minimum separation distance of 0 cm must be maintained between the user’s body and the device to comply with the RF exposure requirements in Europe.
- Only use the charger provided with the product. If supplied, only use the original USB power supply unit.
- Do not use the charger outdoors or near heated surfaces.

- Keep the product and the battery away from fire and do not expose them to direct sunlight. Do not expose the appliance or battery to excessive temperatures.
- Do not open, modify, pierce, damage or dismantle the product or battery to prevent the battery from heating up or releasing toxic or hazardous substances.
- Do not short-circuit, overcharge or reverse charge the battery.
- If the battery is damaged or leaking, avoid contact with the skin or eyes. If this occurs, immediately rinse well with water and seek medical care.
- Do not place the product and its battery in microwave ovens or on induction cookers.
- This appliance contains a non-replaceable battery. When the battery is at the end of its life, the appliance shall be properly disposed of.
CAUTION
- Check the toothbrush for obvious damage before using it. Do not use it if it is severely damaged.
- Before plugging into a power outlet, make sure the voltage of the local power outlet matches the rated voltage of the product.
- Do not use the charging dock outdoors in direct sunlight.
- Do not use the toothbrush while bathing or showering.
- Do not share a toothbrush head with others.
- Do not wrap the charging cable around the charging dock while it is plugged into an outlet.
- Do not place any metal objects on the charging dock while it is plugged into an outlet.

Installing the Toothbrush Head
Make sure that the toothbrush head is installed in the same direction as the front of the toothbrush handle, and make sure there is a slight gap between the toothbrush head and the handle. (The gap is designed to prevent the toothbrush head from colliding with the handle during high-frequency vibration, to generate more power from the motor.)
How to Use
Introduction to brushing modes
- Standard Mode: Suitable for daily oral hygiene.
- Gentle Mode: Suitable for sensitive teeth.
- Custom Mode: A two-minute advanced mode by default. More features and modes can be configured in the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app including brushing duration, splash prevention for ten seconds, beginner mode, sensitive mode, advanced mode, additional features, etc.
- These settings are available in Custom Mode.
Restoring factory settings
Press and hold the on/off button and the mode/power button at the same time
for five seconds, and the smart LED screen will turn white until the buttons
are released. This will restore the product to the factory settings.
Note: To fully experience the functions of the toothbrush’s app, please
connect to the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app in time after restoring factory
settings.
Healthy brushing
- Position the toothbrush head at an angle of 45° to the gum line, and slowly move it along the teeth and gum line.
- While brushing, the toothbrush pauses briefly every 30 seconds to prompt the user to change the brushing position.
- When there is no active pause during use, the toothbrush will automatically turn off once the brushing mode ends.
- The brushing duration can be set via the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app.
Screen icons
- Power indicator: The stronger the power, the more the indicator lights up.
- Brushing score: After every brushing session is completed, the screen will display the score for the session. If the brushing score is over 95, then ” win” will be displayed. If the brushing session lasts for less than one minute, then “…..” will be displayed. The Mi
- Home/Xiaomi Home app does not record the brushing data for sessions less than one minute. It is recommended to brush for at least one minute every time.
Screen-on notifications
- When the toothbrush is powered on for the first time, the screen-on notification feature will be enabled automatically. Afterwards, whenever you pick up the toothbrush, the screen will automatically light up and display the current brushing mode.
- If a nickname or anniversary date has been set in the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app, then the screen will display the nickname or the anniversary notification on the set date when the toothbrush is picked up.
Notes
- The brushing mode will not be displayed when the nickname or anniversary notification is displayed.
- When the toothbrush is carried during travel, the screen-on notification feature automatically will be off temporarily if continued bumping is detected. It will be on again when the toothbrush is turned on again or there is no movement for 30 minutes.
Cleaning the toothbrush head
- After brushing, rinse the toothbrush head with running water.
- After rinsing, put on the toothbrush head with the protective cover to keep it clean and hygienic.
Note: It is recommended to replace the toothbrush head every three months.
Smart Functions
Overpressure notification
The toothbrush is equipped with an overpressure protection system that detects
pressure in real-time. When too much pressure is applied during teeth
brushing, the overpressure notification indicator will blink in red quickly
and the toothbrush will vibrate alternately in different amplitudes to notify
the user.
Connecting with the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app
- This product works with the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app*. Control your device with the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app.
- Scan the QR code to download and install the app. You will be directed to the connection setup page if the app is installed already. Or search “Mi Home/Xiaomi Home” in the app store to download and install it.
- Open the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app, tap”+* on the upper right, and then follow the prompts to add your device.
Note: The version of the app might have been updated, please follow the instructions based on the current app version.
Regular Charging
- The toothbrush charging dock is designed for the 1700 and is not compatible with other products.
- When the toothbrush cannot be turned on after the battery is depleted, it will take approximately six hours to fully charge it. The time required for fully charging will depend on the battery level when charging starts.
- “If the toothbrush battery has been depleted and was not charged for a long period, the charging icon may blink slowly the next time it is charged. This is normal.

Environmental Protection
When the toothbrush reaches the end of its service life, please remove it, dispose of, or recycle the built-in battery by local laws and regulations of the country or region it is used. If the battery cannot be removed, please take the toothbrush to an official designated recycling centre.
CAUTION
The toothbrush must be turned off before removing the battery. Before removing
the battery, make sure it is depleted. You can make the toothbrush remain on
until it stops working, and repeat this process until the battery runs out of
power.
How to remove the battery
- Remove the decoration and the cover at the bottom of the toothbrush handle.
- Remove the inner holder.
- Cut off the cable connecting the battery and remove the battery.
Note: Do not replace the battery on your own. Removing the battery forcibly may damage the function of the toothbrush, please be cautious.
