- Make sure the network connections are stable.
- The indicator light will turn yellow when the camera is turned on and blue once the connection between your camera and app is successful.

Precautions
The operating temperature range for this camera is between -10 °C and 50°C. Do
not use this camera in environments with temperatures above or below the
specified range.
The camera is a precision electronic product. In Order to ensure its normal
operation, do not install the camera in environments with a high humidity nor
allow water to get into it.
To improve the camera’s performance, do not place its lens facing or next to
reflective surfaces, such as glass windows or white walls, as this will cause
the image to appear overly bright in areas close to the camera and darker in
areas further away, or cause the camera to produce completely white images.
Make sure the camera is installed in an area with a strong Wi-Fi signal. Do
not install the camera near microwave ovens, and other objects or places that
affect its Wi-Fi signal.
If the charging cable is damaged or broken, it must be replaced with a genuine
charging cable purchased from the manufacturer or after-sales service
department to avoid safety hazards.

Installation
The camera can be placed on flat surfaces such as desks, dining tables, coffee
tables, TV cabinets, etc.
Note: The installation height of the camera should not exceed 2 meters,
and ensure it is firmly and securely installed.

Installing a MicroSD card
Ensure that the camera is unplugged and insert the MicroSD card into the slot
with its contact side facing up.
Note: Unplug the camera when installing or removing the MicroSD card.
Please use a MicroSD card from a well-known brand with reading and writing
speed equal to or higher than U1 and Class 10. The camera can be used without
a MicroSD card. However, it cannot save videos nor use the playback and time-
lapse photography functions without a card. Therefore, it is recommended to
install a MicroSD card.
How to Use
Turning On
Connect the charging cable and power adapter, and the camera will turn on
automatically after it is plugged in.
Once the indicator is yellow and you hear a voice notification, the camera is
turned on successfully.
Note: Please select a power adapter with an output of 5 V/1 A from a
reputable manufacturer.
Indicator status description:
- Yellow: Awaiting connection…
- Blinking yellow: Connecting to a network…
- Blinking Blue: Connecting to a server…
- Blue: Connected successfully
Resetting the Camera
Use a pin or a similar tool to press and hold the reset button. Once you hear
a voice notification the camera has been reset successfully.
Note: Resetting the camera will not delete any data from the MicroSD
Card.
Connect
Connect with Mi Home / Xiaomi Home App
- This product works with the Mi home / Xiaomi Home App*. Use the Mi Home / Xiaomi Home app to control your device, and to interact with other smart home devices.
- Scan the QR code to download and install the app. You will be directed to the connection setup page if the app is installed already. Or search “Mi Home / Xiaomi Home” in the app store to download and install it.
- Open Mi Home / Xiaomi Home app, tap “+” on the upper right, and the follow prompts to add your device.
- *The app is referred to as Xiaomi Home app int Europe (except for Russia). The name of the app displayed on your device should be taken as the default.
- Note: The version of the app might have been update, please follow the instructions based on the current app version.
- Make sure the network connections are stable. The indicator is yellow when the camera is turned on, and then charges into blue once the connection between your camera and app is successful.
