INSTALLATION
-
Remove protective cup from the bottom of the pole.
-
Hammer a pole into the ground using rubber/wooden mallet. Alternatively a standard hammer can be used, but the top of the pole must be protected e .g by placing a piece of wood on top of the pole before hitting with hammer.
Be sure to check for any pipes, cables etc that may be damaged by installation of this product. -
Connect each product to a suitable Collingwood 350mA or 700mA constant current driver.
SERIES WIRING
LED UNITS IN DRY ENVIRONMENT (i.e. no moisture or condensation)
Junction boxes JB2 or JB4 (see overleaf) may be used for convenience. Alternatively, wire the LED units in series to the LED driver using any connectors suitable for SELV (Separated Extra Low Voltage)
- Connect red wire of first LED unit to + (plus) driver output terminal.
- Connect black wire of last LED unit to – (minus) driver output terminal.
- Connect black to red as shown, i.e. current flows ‘in’ through each red wire and ‘out’ through each black wire.
- The diagram above is an example with three LED units wired in series.
