HEMA-FREE PAINT GUIDE

STEP 1: NAIL PREP

1. Sanitise your own and your customer’s hands.
2. Use a cuticle pusher to push back the cuticles before trimming away excess with nippers.
3. File nails into shape using a TGB 220/240 grit File.
4. Gently buff nails using a TGB 100/180 grit Buffer to remove any shine.
5. Dehydrate and cleanse the nail plate using 100% pure acetone.

STEP 2: BASE COAT

1. Apply a thin and precise layer of HEMA-Free Bond Base.
2. Seal the free edge.
3. Cure for 60 seconds in TGB Light The Way Lamp or 99 seconds if using low heat mode. Note that we do not recommend the use of other lamps. If the customer experiences a `heat spike’, remove the nails from the lamp. Lost seconds must be regained using low heat mode again.

STEP 3: FIRSTLAYER

1. Apply a thin coat of any TGB HEMA-Free Paint colour, making sure to seal the free edge.
2. Cure using the TGB Light The Way Lamp for 60 seconds.

STEP 4: SECONDLAYER

1. Apply a second even coat of colour and seal the free edge.
2. Cure using the TGB Light The Way Lamp for 60 seconds.

STEP 5: TOP COAT

1. Apply Glow Top HEMA-Free top coat.
2. Cure using the TGB Light The Way Lamp for 60 seconds.
3. No need to wipe or cleanse after curing. All TGB top coats are non-wipe.
