Operation :

1. Remove all packaging material from the product.
2. Place the straightener on a flat, heat-resistant surface.
3. Plug it into the power socket.
4. Press the On button.

To Straighten:

1. Take a lock of hair and place it between the plates.
2. Close them and slide the straightener down the lock of hair from roots to tips.
3. Repeat until all hair is straight.

To Shape:

1. Separate vertical locks for a wavy or curly look.
2. Take thicker sections for bigger curls or natural-looking waves.

• Q: How do I clean the hair straightener?
  • A: Ensure the appliance is unplugged and cooled down. Wipe the plates with a damp cloth and avoid using harsh chemicals.

(*) Once the temperature has been selected, to lock it press E (-) button for 3 seconds and a padlock will appear. To unlock the temperature, press button E (-) again and the padlock will disappear. The plate lock must not be selected when switching the hair straightener off completely.

USE AND CARE:

• Fully unroll the appliance’s power cable before each use.
• Do not use the appliance if the on/off switch does not work.
• For maximum efficiency, the plates reach the temperature used by professionals (220ºC). Do not touch the plates or the case covering them, as they reach very high temperatures. Be sure that the plates do not touch your eyes or bare skin while using the appliance.
• While operating, the plates may reach temperatures of up to 220ºC. The plastic parts near the ceramic plates may also be hot. We recommend resting your hand on the temperature control zone
• Never leave the appliance outdoors and exposed to the elements.
• Under no circumstances should you use flammable substances (gel, etc.) on your hair before using the straighteners.
• Never leave the appliance on a wet surface or cloth while it is plugged in.
• Do not leave the appliance operating on surfaces that are not heat resistant. Make sure that the plates are cool before placing the appliance on any surface.
• Do not use the appliance on wet hair.
• Unplug the appliance from the mains when not in use and before undertaking any cleaning task. Also unplug it in the case of a power cut. The appliance must always be in the Off position when plugging it in or unplugging it.
• Store this appliance out of reach of children and/or those with reduced physical, sensorial or mental abilities or who are unfamiliar with its use
• Never leave the appliance connected and unattended if not in use. This also saves energy and prolongs the life of the appliance.
• Do not use the appliance on pets or animals.
• If you do not use the appliance for a long period of time, store it in a dry, safe place away from children.

AUTOMATIC SAFETY CUT-OFF

• For safety reasons the straighteners will switch themselves off after 60 minutes if not touched.

TOUCH CONTROL

• Easy touch-controlled temperature selection system.

USE

• This appliance has been designed to wave, curl, curl ends in and out, add body and straighten hair.
• Do not use the brush on wet hair. Be sure that your hair is completely dry and combed.

OPENING & CLOSING THE STRAIGHTENER (FIG.1)

• To close the straightener, shut the plates and push the open/close switch. The plates will be locked in the closed position. To open the hair straightener, slide the switch the other way. The plates will open.

OPERATION

• Make sure that all the product’s packaging material has been removed.
• Place the straightener on a flat, heat-resistant surface.
• Plug it into the power socket.
• Press the “On” button (B), it will ‘beep’ and the temperature selector (C) will flash, indicating that the straightener is operating, (Fig2.
• The default temperature is 180ºC.
  • Select the ideal temperature for your hair type by pressing the temperature selector. We recommend using lower temperatures for very fine, damaged or dyed hair and higher temperatures for curly, thick or unmanageable hair.
• The temperature selector starts at the coolest temperature moving up to the maximum setting:180-190-200-210-220ºC. If you require a lower temperature, use the–temperature setting button (D) . This hair straightener’s minimum temperature is 110ºC.
• While heating, the icon of the selected position will flash.
• When the selected temperature has been reached, the icon will stay lit permanently.
• The straightener will keep the preselected temperature constant.
  • Create a straight or wavy style.
  • When you have finished using the straightener, press the On/Off button.
  • Unplug the appliance from the mains and wait until it has cooled before storing it.
  • Clean the appliance.

TO STRAIGHTEN (FIG.3)

• Take a lock of hair (approximately 5 cm wide) and place it between the plates. Close them and slide the straightener down the lock of hair from the roots to the tips.
• Repeat this operation until all your hair is completely straight.
• For best results, we recommend you begin with the lower layers of hair and continue with the top layers.

TO SHAPE (FIG. 4)

• For a wavy or curly look, separate vertical locks so the curls fall more naturally.
• Take thicker sections for bigger curls or natural-looking waves and finer strands for romantic ringlets and tighter curls.
• Wrap each lock of hair around the straightener using a circular motion (as though it were a round brush) to get a wave and ringlet-shaped lock.
• Hold the tip of the hair and start wrapping the hair as you slide the straightener downward.

CLEANING

• Unplug the appliance from the mains and let it cool before performing any cleaning task.
• Make sure that the plates are cool before cleaning the appliance.
• Clean the surface of the straightener with a dry cloth.
• Clean the plates with a damp cloth and then dry them.
• Do not use abrasive cleaning products.
• Never immerse the main body in water or any other liquid, or put it in the dishwasher. The appliance should never come into contact with water during cleaning. Avoid splashing water on the appliance or the power cord.
• If the appliance is not kept clean, its surface may deteriorate, which will inevitably shorten the appliance’s useful life, as well as make it unsafe to use.
