Before using the product for the first time, boiling water to remove all remaining dust and impurities is advisable.

FILLING WITH WATER

USE

Take the length of the supply cord required out of the housing.
Attach the appliance to its base, making sure that it is correctly fitted into place.
Connect the appliance to the mains.
Switch on the appliance using the on/off switch.
Once the water has boiled, the appliance will switch off automatically.
The appliance can be switched on again using the switch once the control device has cooled; if it is not switched on again, do not force it; allow it to cool.

If the appliance turns itself off and does not switch itself on again, disconnect it from the mains supply, and wait for approximately 15 minutes before reconnecting. If the machine does not start again seek authorised technical assistance.

To prevent this kind of problem, we recommend the use of water with low lime or magnesium mineralisation.
However, if it is not possible to use the kind of water recommended above, you should periodically remove the limescale from the appliance:
- Every 6 weeks if the water is “very hard”.
- Every 12 weeks if the water is “hard”.
A specific anti-limescale product should be used on this kind of product.
Homemade solutions are not recommended in the descaling of this appliance, such as the use of vinegar.
