GENERAL SAFETY RULES
FIRE AND EXPLOSION
When flammable fluids are present in the work area, such as gasoline, be aware that flammable fumes can ignite or explode. To help prevent fire and explosion:
- Use equipment only in a well-ventilated
- Eliminate all ignition sources, such as cigarettes and portable electric lamps .
- Keep a working fire extinguisher in the work
Make sure the line pressure does not exceed the rated operating pressure of
your model hose reel.
Before carrying out any maintenance turn off and disconnect the supply line to
the reel and carefully release the hose line pressure.
SKIN TOUCH
The fluid from dispensing device, hose leaks, or ruptured components will be harmful to the skin . Clean with water immediately.

INSTALLATION
Installation preparation:
- Please prepare gloves to avoid being scratched by sharp parts that may occur during
- Please open all the boxes to check that the accessories are complete and in good condition.
Installation:
Step 1 Secure the hose reel to a wall or truck deck. Be sure to use
appropriate hardware and tighten securely.
Step 2 Connect the fuel gun.
Note:It is recommended to wrap 3~5 loops of PTFE tape around the joint. Only
Model 1224BT-100-5,1224BT-100-4,1224BT-100-3,1224BT-100-2 has an fuel gun.
Step 3 Connect the reel inlet to the oil supply tank or mobile oil source unit. Note:It is recommended to wrap 3~5 loops of PTFE tape around the joint. (Tip:you could choose TNP connector or extended fuel inlet connector.)
Step 4 Grasp the hose and slowly pull it out to the required length ,The
Ratchet teeth for position will hold the hose in the place ,there a clicking
sound is heard to ensure locking. or use Hose Stopper locator to fix it.Only
then can it be used.
Note:This product has an integrated locking ratchet system that keeps the hose
where you want during use and quickly stored when finished.
During the process of slowly pulling out the hose, you will hear four
consecutive “clicking” Reminder sounds; This is when the ratchet is in the
action. The first to third sounds can lock the reel, and the fourth sound will
pass the lock (can’t locked) and need to be pulled to the next cycle.
Step 5 To retract the reel after fueling, holding the hose, slowly pull out a
little, and then slowly put it back.
Noted:When rewinding the hose, make sure that the hose is evenly wound around
the reel.
NOTE:
- To avoid damage to the reel, always hold on to the hose while it is
- Please use this product according to the normal oil supply pressure, do not use over
- The maximum working pressure of the product is lower than the working pressure of the
MAINTENANCE
Maintain your reel. Do not force the hose reel. Products are safer and do a
better job when used in the manner for which they are designed. Plan your
work, and use the correct product for the job.
If the rewind spring fails, for safety reasons, it is strongly recommended the
replacement of the spring canister should be performed by an authorized
service technician. The spring can be under high tension and accidental
release can cause severe personal injury.
Check for damaged parts before each use. Carefully check that the product will
operate properly and perform its intended function. Replace damaged or worn
parts immediately. Never operate the product with a damaged part.
Wet work areas can cause damage to the reel, recommended that the reel be
placed indoors when not in use to avoid getting wet from the rain.
Periodically check the hose condition for wear or damage, and check the swivel
fitting for leakage. Replace any worn, damaged, or leaking parts.
Troubleshooting
Before calling service team for support, please check the following troubleshooting tips:
