Specifications :

  • Capacity : 5L/1.32 Gal
  • Applicable Kibble Size : 0.118-0.709inch /3-18 mm dry food

Assembling Your Pet Feeder:

  1. Press lock buckle to open lid. Take out all accessories and remove all packing materials.
  2. Plug in DC cable. Install 3 x D batteries for back-up power in case of power outage.
  3. Align the notches and then snap splitter into the middle of the bowl holder.
  4. The support bars can be installed through the holes at the bottom of the base to raise the height.
  5. Place bowls in bowl holders. Lift feeder and attach the bowls to the notch underneath the base.
  6. Take desiccant bag out from packaging and place it in the desiccant box. Put the lid back on.

Control Panel:
Using Your Pet Feeder

  1. Manual Feeding:
  2. Fill food tank with dry pet food (0.118-0.709 inch). Cap the lid back and press to snap in place.
  3. Plug in the equipped power adapter. The LED display will light up indicating the feeder is on.
  4. With the feeder unlocked, tap once to feed 1 portion manually. You can also set automatic feeding plan.
  5. Scheduling Feeding Plan:
    • If no feeding plan is set, the feeder will carry out the default feeding plan.
    • Step 1 Setting Current Time: Hold for 3s to unlock the control panel. If no operation is done in 60s, it will be locked again.
    • Step 2 Setting Feeding Time & Portion: Tap once to enter hour setting (for Meal 1). Tap or to adjust the feeding time. Tap once to save and move to minute setting. Tap or to adjust the feeding time.

FAQ:

  1. Q: How often should I replace the desiccant bag?
    A: The desiccant bag should be replaced every 30 days for optimal performance.

  2. Q: What should I do if the feeder shows a food stuck/error message?
    A: If you encounter a food stuck or error message, check the food outlet for any blockages and ensure the feeder is properly assembled.

  3. Q: Can I use wet food in the feeder?
    A: No, this feeder is designed for dry pet food only.

  • Do NOT use wet, canned or moist food. For dry food only.
  • Do NOT disassemble the unit other than as instructed in this User Guide.
  • Do NOT use the feeder for any purpose other than its intended use.
  • Only use attachments recommended or sold by the manufacturer. Using attachments that are not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may result in unsafe conditions. Do not modify the pet feeder.
  • Do NOT operate any appliance if the unit is malfunctioning or has been damaged. Do not attempt repairs on the pet feeder yourself. Contact our customer service immediately for further instructions.
  • DO NOT allow pets to chew on or swallow any parts. Cover or hide the power cord with care to prevent pets from biting.
  • Install or store pet feeder on a level surface against wall or in a corner to avoid tripping.

ELECTRICITY SAFETY

  • Always unplug when not in use and before cleaning.
  • Never pull the power cord to remove the plug from the wall outlet.
  • If the plug of the device gets wet, turn off the power to the wall outlet. Do not attempt to unplug.
  • Examine the feeder after installation. Do not plug in if there is water on the power cord or plug.
  • To avoid tripping, always place the power cord out of the way of foot traffic.
  • Use ONLY the provided power adapter and charging cable.
  • To reduce the risk of electrical shock, do not place or store an appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.

Using Your Pet Feeder

  • Make sure that pet feeder is properly installed before filling the food tank.
  • Unlock first (hold for 3s) before using the control panel.

  1. Step 1 Setting Current Time

  2. Hold for 3s to unlock the control panel. If no operation is done in 60s,it will be locked again.

  3. Hold for 2s to enter current time setting. Tap  to adjust the hour.

  4. Tap    once to save and move to minute setting. Tap     to adjust, then tap to save and exit.

  6. Tap once to enter hour setting (for MEAl1). Tap to adjust the feeding time (number for hour).

  7. Tap once to save and move to minute setting. Tap  to adjust the feeding time(number of minute).

  8.  Tap  once to save and move to portion setting. Tap to adjust the portion(- Max.48) for meal 1.

  9. Tap once to save and repeat for the rest meals (2- 6) setting.  you can hold for 2s to save the current meal and exit.

Additional Features

Recording a Meal Call

  1. In the unlocked status, hold for 2s until a beep is heard. Keep holding to record your voice (Max.10s).Release to end or record for 10s.
  2. The recording plays automatically You can also tap  twice to play manually.
  3. To turn on/off recording function, tap   three times within 1s.

Clearing All Settings

  1. In the unlocked status, hold and simultaneously for 7s until a beep is heard to restore to factory settings.
  2. The recording will not be cleared. To update the meal call, hold  to record a new one.

CLEAN AND CARE

  • Always dry all parts thoroughly before reassembling for next use.

  • It is recommended to clean the feeder regularly for the health of your pets.
    Cleaning Bowls & Holders

    1. Lift the feeder and remove the bowl holder.
    2. Rinse clean and air dry thoroughly.
  1. Cleaning Lid, Tank & Tank Base

  2. In the unlocked status, hold and simultaneously for 3s until a beep is heard to unlock the food slider.

  3. Press the lock buckle to open the lid. Take out the desiccant bag.FeelNeedy-PTM-803-Automatic-Pet-Feeder- \(26\)

  4. Slide the lock latches on both sides to position to remove the tank and tank base.

  5. Rotate the four lock latches to unlocked position, then take out the food slider.

  6. Rinse clean the lid, tank, tank base and food slider. Dry thoroughly before reassembling.

  7. Wipe the base with a soft and damp cloth. Do not rinse or immerse in water.FeelNeedy-PTM-803-Automatic-Pet-Feeder- \(29\)

  8. Hold the food slider and place it back to the base. Rotate the lock latches to lock the slider in place.FeelNeedy-PTM-803-Automatic-Pet-Feeder- \(30\)

  9. Align the grooves on both sides and install the tank base, tank and lid back.

Troubleshooting

  1. Q: LED display OFF.

    • A Check if the pet feeder is properly connected to a powered electrical outlet with the included cable and power adapter
    • lf no operation is done in 60s, the screen will be locked (only this icon  is on).
    • Hold  for 3s to unlock and wake up the screen.
  2. Q: Control buttons are not responsive.
    A Make sure the control panel is not locked. Unlock the panel first (hold before using it. before using it.

  3. Q: Food does not come out.

    • Be sure to add dry food with size of 0.118-0.709 inch (3-18mm) in diameter.
    • Remove the food tank to check if the tank base is properly installed.
    • Check if the food is stuck or food outlet is blocked.
    • Check if the pet feeder is properly connected to a powered electrical outlet or if outage occurs with no back-up batteries installed.
  4. Q: Cannot hear any voice when feeding.
    Make sure you have recorded successfully. Unlock the control panel, double tap to play. lf no sound is heard, you may need to record again as instructed in Recording a Meal Call.

CAUTION

  • Do NOT install or store the pet feeder where it will be exposed to weather or temperatures below 4°C / 39.2°F.
  • Use alkaline D batteries to power. Do NOT use rechargeable batteries.
  • Check the batteries regularly. Before leaving for extended time, always replace batteries with new ones.
  • Do NOT lift the pet feeder by lid, food tank, or food tray. Lift and carry it using both hands and the base, while keeping the unit in an upright position.
  • Suitable for dry food ONLY, with kibble size ranging from 3-18mm / 0.118-0.709 inch in diameter. Larger kibble may get stuck at the food outlet.
  • Do not put your fingers into the food outlet or touch the rotor.
  • Read and observe all important notices listed on the pet feeder and in the packaging.

Tips
Please feed your pet according to its daily food intake. As the calorie content of pet food and the activity level of each pet are different, the feeding amount and portions in the chart are for reference only.
If the pet does not finish the previous meal, please reduce the feeding amount of the next meal.
If the pet eats up every meal, please increase the feeding amount accordingly.
