- Ensure that the vehicle is properly supported with axle stands before working under the vehicle.

- DO NOT use the kit if any parts are damaged or missing, as this may cause failure and/or personal injury.
- DO NOT use the kit when you are tired, or under the influence of alcohol, drugs or intoxicating medication.

INTRODUCTION
Screw-type bridge extractor set. The thin tapered lips on the collets secure a positive grip on the curved surface of the internal bearing bore. Gently removes blind bearings where the use of a slide hammer may damage the surrounding material. Bearing extractor collets with internal capacity from 8 to 27mm.

OPERATION
5.1. Before using the required attachment disassemble and grease asshown in
fig.1. Collet to be fully inserted into the bearing before attempting to pull
the bearing.
5.2. Insert the attachment into the bearing.
5.3. Hold the attachment with a spanner and wind the drive pin into the
attachment, with another spanner, until the jaws open and grip thebearing,
fig.2.
5.4. Place the bridge extractor legs in the correct position over the bearing
housing, tighten the cap head screws screws on the legs tohold them in
position, fig.3.
5.5. Screw the bridge extractor’s hex screw into the attachment. Hold the
attachment with a spanner and tighten.
5.6. Hold the long cap head screw still and wind the bearing out using the nut
beneath, fig.3. ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools,
accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycling centre and
disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the
product becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any
fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and
fluids according to local regulations.
