Basic Information

Brief description of functions

Thank you for selecting the Element mobile phone with colour display.

While reading this manual, get familiar with the phone operation, features and control method. The mobile phone is designed for GSM networks; the phone allows dual SIM operation in the standby mode, but you cannot make calls from the other card if a call is in progress on one SIM card. In addition to basic calling functions, the phone also offers a number of useful functions, such as address book, operating modes, messages, audio and video player, camera and camcorder, alarm clock, calculator and other functions that are useful for work and leisure activities. The mobile phone meets the GSM criteria and is certified by relevant authorities. Our company reserves the right to modify the content of this manual without prior notice.

  • Always follow the basic safety instructions when using this device to prevent the risk of fire, electric shock or injury.
  • Please read this user’s manual and follow all instructions for use, maintenance and assembly. Do not use the mobile phone for purposes other than those for which it was designed.
  • Not following the rules set forth in this user’s manual or inappropriate use will void the warranty and may result in injuries or damage to property. In this case, the manufacturer takes no responsibility for any damages whatsoever.
  • It is forbidden to use mobile phones in certain places. In the event that mobile phone use is forbidden, turn off the phone according to the instructions in the user’s manual. The usual locations where the use of mobile phones is forbidden include: Planes, petrol stations, areas where blasting works are being performed, etc. The operation of smartphones may have an effect on the functionality of electronic equipment and health devices such as, for example, pacemakers, hearing aids and other medical electronic equipment.
  • Turn off the device when in the vicinity of fuel, chemical substances or explosives. Keep the device out of children’s reach.
  • Adhere to local regulations governing the use of mobile phones when driving vehicles; as the driver, your primary responsibility is for the given vehicle.   • If the phone supports the “Aircraft mode” function, please set it to the “Aircraft mode” prior to boarding a plane. If the phone does not support this mode, then turn it off prior to boarding a plane because the phone may cause interference to the plane’s electronic equipment. Please follow the instructions provided onboard the plane.
  • Use primarily original accessories with the phone, as the use of a non-original battery or charger subjects you to the risk of losing the right to a warranty repair, risk of damage to the phone and risk of injury to the user.
  • Modifying or changing the features of the phone or tampering with the device is strictly prohibited. Modifying the device may lead to serious malfunctions and damages to property, potentially it may also cause injury to the user. A modification is considered to also be changes to the operating system software, unless approved by the manufacturer.
  • Do not connect the battery charger to your phone before the battery is installed. Do not short circuit the battery.
  • Charge the battery of the smartphone in a well ventilated and cool area and at sufficient distance from flammable and explosive materials.
  • To prevent demagnetization, keep your smartphone away from magnetic materials such as discs, credit cards, etc.
  • Mobile phones are sensitive to external interference, which may seriously affect their function; in certain environments it is not possible to use the mobile phone.
  • Neither the mobile phone nor the charger are toys; their use by children presents the risk of small parts being swallowed. The charger and its connection to the mains power grid are very risky for small children; this form of use is forbidden for children.
  • Do not unplug the charger by pulling on the power cord – there is a risk of damaging the power cord/socket and/or charger. Disconnect the charger from the power socket by pulling the body of the charger.
  • In the event that the front glass of the phone is damaged, be careful as there is a risk of sharp glass parts, which could result in an injury. Do not use phones damaged in this way, and seek professional repair.
  • High volume of the mobile phone may damage hearing with prolonged use, be careful when setting the volume level. Listening to loud music by means of the phone may have serious consequences, be careful when setting the volume level while listening to music.
  • Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaning agents, benzine, solvents or similar products. Use a lightly dampened cloth for cleaning.
  • Do not use the device in the vicinity of water, e.g. in the bath, shower or pool. Submerging the device may lead to injury by electrical shock. Do not place the device into a container filled with water, e.g. a vase.
  • Place the device on a stable surface. If your device falls, it can be damaged or injury may result.
  • Do not cover the openings on the device. They are used for ventilation and overheating protection.
  • Place the device in locations where nobody can step on it.
  • Do not place any objects into the openings of the device. This presents a risk of fire or injury by electrical shock. Never permit the device to be sprayed with a liquid.
  • To reduce the risk of injury by electrical shock, do not disassemble the device. In the event that servicing or repairs of the device are necessary, take it to an authorised service centre or to a qualified technician. When it is opened or when the cover is being removed, places with dangerous voltage or other risks may be exposed.   • This phone takes photographs, records videos and audio; follow all respective laws and regulations relating to the use of these functions. Under certain conditions, taking photographs, recording videos or audio without permission may violate laws and regulations in force.
  • When using the network functions, please, do not download files containing viruses, do not install any damaged photographs or dial tones. If downloaded files result in abnormal behaviour of the phone, our company takes no responsibility whatsoever for the given fault.
  • Dispose of batteries in accordance with local regulations, recycle them if possible. Do not throw batteries out with standard communal waste.

Measures to take when a static image is displayed; red/blue/green pixels on the screen. A static image can permanently damage the display part of the LCD screen.

  • Do not leave a static image on an LCD screen for longer than 2 hours, because this could damage the screen. This type of damage is known as “screen burn-in”.

Damage to the screen resulting from the above mentioned causes is not covered by the warranty!

Red/blue/green/black pixels may appear on the screen

  • This is a characteristic feature of liquid crystal displays and does not represent a problem. LCD screens are manufactured using a very precise technology in order to achieve a very fine picture resolution. From time to time several inactive pixels may appear on the screen as a permanently red, blue, green or black pixel (up to 0.001%of the total number of pixels on the screen). This does not affect the features and performance of your device.

Phone buttons and their functions

2.        In standby mode, the left soft button activates the menu; use the right software button to enter your contacts.

Arrow up/down| They match to the up / down / arrow keys to navigate in the phone menu. During the call, they act as volume down/ up buttons.
Dial button| 1.        Press this button to dial a number or answer an incoming call.

2.        In the standby mode, press this button to enter the list of dialled numbers.

Call end button| 1.        Hold down the button to turn your phone on/off.

2.        Press in any screen to return to the standby screen.

3.        Ending the call or rejecting the incoming call.

SOS button| Used for quick calling for help. When pressed and held, a preset phone number is dialed.
Number buttons / keyboard| These are used to dial and input numbers and characters. Hold down the number “1” button to go to the preset voicemail.
Button| 1.        In the standby screen, type ****after entering the phone number. To enter an extension number, enter the extension when the “+” sign appears.

3.        In submenus, it’s used to move to a next item. It acts as a left arrow.

Inserting the SIM and memory cards

Before using your phone for the first time, it is necessary to insert the SIM card. Your network operator will provide the SIM card.
If you buy the services in a mobile network, you will obtain the SIM card along with the details such as your PIN code and optional services available.

CAUTION:

Avoid bending the SIM card and protect it from scratching. Do not expose the SIM card to static electricity, water and pollution. When inserting and removing the SIM cards as well as the memory card, take utmost care to avoid damage to the slots and the phone’s motherboard.

WARNING: Disconnect the charger, turn the phone off, and remove the battery before handling the cards (SIM, memory card).

  • In the notch in the left bottom corner on the back of the phone, lift the back cover with your fingernail or a blunt object. Then gradually release it around the perimeter.
  • Lift the battery with your fingernail or a blunt object on top of the battery.
  • Insert the SIM cards in the appropriate slots under the battery with contacts facing down so that the SIM cards contacts touch the integrated phone SIM contacts. Insert the SIM 1 card in the top right slot with the bevelled corner placed in the top right corner of the slot, insert the SIM 2 card in the left SIM slot with the bevelled corner placed in the bottom right corner of the slot.
  • Place the memory card in the slot with contacts pointing down towards the phone body. The memory card edge with the contacts will point to the right phone edge.

CAUTION: If the memory card does not work, please check if it is correctly inserted and the contacts are good. The maximum size of the supported memory cards is 8GB.

When inserting the battery into the phone, first connect the battery contacts to the contacts located on the phone (at the bottom) and then gently push the battery into the battery compartment.

To replace the back cover, attach it to the phone body so that the cover locks gently fit into the phone locks. Then gently push the phone cover around the perimeter of the phone body. Finally, check visually that the cover is properly attached to the body of the phone at all points around the perimeter, or press it repeatedly.

CAUTION

Some phone functions, such as voice calls, receiving and sending messages, are only possible and available when at least one SIM card with activated operator functions is inserted and within range of its wireless network. Request information from your operator about available services on your SIM card and the accessibility of the network.

Phone on/off

  • To turn the phone on, hold down the call end button. To turn the phone off, hold down the call end button in the standby mode.

Charging the battery

Use for charging the original USB-C cable connected to electrical power network. Connect cable to the phone or the original charging cradle. Insert the phone into the charging cradle so that the charging contacts of the phone and the stand touch. During charging, the battery icon in the upper right corner of the phone display starts to move. When the battery icon stops moving, the charging is finished. If a charging stand is used, the charging process of the phone is indicated by a LED on the charging cradle.

CAUTION:

Keep the charging contacts of the phone clean. This will prevent oxidation and dirt from covering the charging contacts. The charging contacts in the cradle are fine and touch-sensitive. To prevent damage to the charging contacts, do not touch the charging contacts with your hands or other objects.

CAUTION:

  • To ensure a reliable phone operation, always use the original charger.
Security Password

PIN

  • The PIN code is designed to prevent illegal usage of your SIM card. The PIN code is usually attached to your SIM card.
  • If you enter a wrong PIN three times consecutively, you can unlock it by entering the PUK. For more details, please contact your mobile operator.

PIN2

  • PIN2 should be entered to access some functions (such as call charges); if you enter a wrong PIN2 three times consecutively, you can unlock it by entering the PUK2.
  • For more details, please contact your mobile operator.

PUK

  • To remove the locked PIN code, you must enter the PUK. The PUK code is attached to your SIM card. If it is not available, please contact your network operator. If you enter a wrong PUK ten times consecutively, you will no longer he able to use your SIM card.
  • Contact your network operator to purchase a new card. The PUK cannot be changed.
  • If you lose the code, contact your network operator.

PUK2

When removing the locked PIN2 code, you must enter the PUK2. If you enter a wrong PUK2 ten times consecutively, you will no longer be able to use the functions that require entering the PIN2. Contact your network operator to purchase a new card. The PUK2 cannot be changed. If you lose the code, contact your network operator.

Quick Calling Operation Guide

If English is the default language after initial turning the phone on, please navigate through the phone Menu items as follows: Menu / Settings / Phone settings / Languages and select the desired language from the menu here.

Making a call

  • In standby, press the numeric keys to enter the number you wish to dial.
  • When the number in entered, press the dial number to make a call. If you want to make an international call, add an area prefix before the number.

Receiving a call

When there is an incoming call, the phone will notify you accordingly (vibrate, ring, etc.); if this feature is supported by your phone network, the caller’s name and phone number will appear on the phone display. Press the dial key to answer an incoming call.

Changing volume during the call

  • You can set the speaker volume with the volume buttons (arrow up to increase / arrow down to decrease the volume) during a call.
  • During a call, you can use the phone softkeys to confirm the “SpeakOn” to activate the speaker or “SpeakOff” to turn it off. or “SpeakOff” to turn it off.

End/Reject call

  • After completion of the ongoing call end the call by pressing the end call button.
  • You can reject an incoming call by pressing the call end button.

Emergency calls

  • You can make emergency calls directly without a SIM card. Different networks use different emergency numbers. Your network operator will provide details.

Speed dial of extension

To insert a pause in a phone number (e.g. to enter the extension number), press and hold the “ ” button while entering the number. The “P” symbol appears on the display, then continue entering the extension number. A short time pause will be inserted between the numbers while dialling so that the target exchange can recognize the extension correctly.

Phone Menu Functions

Contacts

This function allows you to browse through the telephone directory, as well as save, edit and delete names and phone numbers in phone and on the SIM card. Contact your operator for the capacity of your SIM card. The maximum capacity of the phone memory is 200 contacts.

Save a new contact / delete a saved contact

The item “Add new entry” is placed first in the list of stored phone numbers. Use the up / down arrow keys to highlight the “Add new entry” option and then use the left soft key to confirm the Select / Select function. You will be prompted to enter the name and phone number. To move between the fields use the navigation key up/down. To save the contact, use the left soft key to confirm the Select / Save function. To delete a saved entry, highlight the desired contact in the contact list with the up / down arrow keys. Press the left soft key Select / Delete to delete the contact from the phone’s memory or the SIM card.

Messages

The message service is in fact the service of the phone network. This menu works properly depending on the type of your SIM card and the services provided by your network operator. Check with your operator before using this function. The message capacity of your SIM depends on the SIM type. Individual SMS messages can be deleted in message reading mode using the menu available with the left soft key (Select / Delete). The “Delete
all” function offers the option of quickly deleting all SMS messages located in a given category (e.g. inbox, drafts, etc.).

  • Type message: For instructions on how to insert text, please refer to a separate chapter. Send the message using the menu available with the left soft key (Select / Send). Inbox: Saves received SMS messages.
  • Drafts: Saves draft messages.
  • Outbox: Messages being in the sending process.
  • Outbox: Stores the SMS messages not successfully sent.
  • Sent: Stores successfully sent SMS messages.
  • SMS setting: Provides the option to set the SMS messages for each SIM card, check the memory status, set automatic saving of sent messages or select a preferred storage for SMS messages.
Recent calls

Call history

The call history list offers you the call overview and the option to delete the items. Pressing the Select button allows you to select the desired function for the selected item in each report, for example Dial selected phone number, Send text message, Save to phone (saving the number to the phone’s memory) or Delete an entry from the call history.

  • Missed calls: Displays the last missed calls.
  • Outgoing calls: It contains a list of recently dialled numbers.
  • Received calls: It contains the list of recently received calls.
  • All calls: It contains the list of all recent calls.
  • Delete the call list: You can delete records of called numbers, missed or received calls.

Call setting

In the Recent calls / Call settings menu, you will find the following functions for each SIM card.

Setting SIM 1/SIM 2 calls

  • Waiting call: You can enable or disable this function. After switching on, you can answer another incoming call during an ongoing call.
  • Call forwarding: After switching on the function you can according to different conditions in settings, choose to switch the incoming call to voicemail or other numbers (unconditional call forwarding, call forwarding during unavailability, if it does not answer, if the number is busy or all calls). Check with your network operator before using the function.
  • Call blocking: After activating the function, you can restrict the call according to the set corresponding conditions (all outgoing calls, international calls, international calls except the home network, all incoming calls or incoming calls when roaming) according to the corresponding conditions (a request must be made to the network operator).

Advanced settings

Allows you to adjust the setting of the following functions:

  • Blocked numbers (Blacklist): You can turn on or off the rejection of blocked numbers function (Reject number). You can save in the list of blocked numbers (Blacklist numbers) up to 20 telephone numbers.
  • Auto redial: You can enable or disable this function. When the function is enabled, the phone automatically dials the called number in the event of a previous unsuccessful connection attempt.
  • Call time display: You can enable or disable this function. When the function is on, the duration of the call is shown on the phone display during an ongoing call.
  • Auto redial: This function will redial automatically until the call connection is reached.
  • Call time reminder: You can set a single or repeated warnings about the length of the current call when the set time interval (in seconds) passes.
  • Answer mode: It offers the possibility of activating the answer function by opening the phone cover, by any button and setting the automatic answer of the call in handsfree mode.
Organizer

File management

Allows you to view pictures and photos taken on a memory card or in the phone via the photo album function. For example, the selected saved image can be set as the wallpaper of the phone display.

Scheduled power on/off

The phone allows you to schedule automatic power on or off for example during night hours when you do not wish to be disturbed.

  • Power on time – Use the option to set the phone power on time. Correct operation of this function requires that the SIM card PIN entering is disabled during powering up. If the SIM PIN is enabled, the phone will power up to the PIN code entering.
  • Power off time – Use the option to set the phone power off time.

Calculator

  • It allows you making simple mathematical operations.
  • Press the arrow up/down to select a required mathematical character for a computing operation or result display. To insert decimal comma, press #.

Alarm

You can have up to 5 presets of active or inactive alarms. You can adjust the status of each alarm clock (on / off), wake-up time, snooze mode (once, every day or only on selected days) and alarm sound. Use the right (#) / left arrow keys ( ) to toggle between the Off / On alarm status and to move in the alarm time entering row.

Bluetooth

  • The function allows wireless transmission between devices.
  • This function is designed to transfer photos or files stored in the phone’s memory or on the memory card. Your phone will be presented by Element P011SV name for other devices.

Calendar

This function can be used to easily view calendar days. To perform calendar operations, press the Select software button:

  • Display – displays the events added on the selected day.
  • Display all – displays all events added.
  • Add event – Allows you to add event in the calendar. First, enter the event name in the Subject box. Now select the event start day and hour, then select the event end. Then select Event type, Reminder, Meeting, Course, Date, Calling, Anniversary or Birthday. You can add Alarm, Repeat option, Event location or Details to a set Reminder. Finally, press the Select and Save software button.

SIM Toolkit

Multimedia

Camera

The unit is equipped with a camera. For correct camera function, the memory card should be inserted and set as the default storage. Press the “5” key to capture a photo.
Press the left soft key Select to display a menu of available functions.
Use the right (#)/ left ( ) arrows to move between the available options in each setting item.

  • Go to video/camera: You can use this function to switch between camera and camcorder mode.
  • Photos: Enter the photo viewer of saved images.
  • Camera settings: You can set selected features of the photo.
  • Picture setting: You can adjust the image size and quality settings.
  • Storage: It sets the default storage for captured images and videos.
  • Restore defaults: Allows you to reset camera settings to default values.

Picture viewer

  • It is used to view, use, share, rename, or delete saved images.

CAUTION:

  • The files for viewing must be saved on the memory card in the “My Photos” folder.

Audio player

The phone can play MP3 files from a memory card and supports “background” playback, where you can use another function of the phone (e.g. Messages, Calculator) while listening to music. To stop the playback running “in the background”, press the “0” key in the Audio player application (Menu / Multimedia / Audio player). To control the player, press the arrow down to move to the previous track, press the arrow up to move to the next track and press the “0” key to control the playback start/pause. To adjust volume, press the left arrow ( ) Volume down / right arrow (#) Volume up.

Use the left software key to go to the list of tracks or continue to Settings:

  • Repeat: Set the playback repeat mode
  • Shuffle: Set the random playback mode

CAUTION:

  • Files for playback must be stored on the memory card in the “My Music” folder.
  • Videos in high resolution or high-speed data stream cannot be played back.

Sound recorder

  • You can use the phone to record sound. You need to have a memory card inserted in your phone for it to work properly.
  • Press the left soft key (“Select”) to display Start new recording or a list of already saved recordings to play.

FM Radio

You can dial and receive calls without limitation while listening to the radio. The radio sound will be muted automatically during the call. Press the “0” key to start / pause playback. Press “4” and “6” to change the frequency value.
To switch the stored stations, press arrow up/down.
To adjust volume, press the left arrow ( ) Volume down / right arrow (#) Volume up. In the radio playback screen, press the left soft button to enter the Options menu where you can do the following:

  • Stations list: You can save a list of favourite stations and then edit the name or frequency of the selected station.
  • Manual control: The selected frequency can be manually searched, typed and saved. Pre-set auto-search: Starts automatic searching and stores the found stations in the station list.
  • Setup: Allows you to turn background radio listening on and off. Press the left ( ) /right (#) arrow to move between the available options in each item setting.

CAUTION:

  • To ensure proper function, please use the phone in open space to obtain the best possible FM signal level.
Setup

You can customize your phone settings, such as time and date, language, call settings, etc.

Profiles

The preset modes include General mode, “Silent” mode, “Meeting” mode and “Outdoor” mode. Press the Select and Adjust software button to adjust the settings of some profiles. Type of notification / ringing, ringtone / message tone: Call and message ringtone settings for individual SIM cards (SIM1, SIM2).

  • Ringtone/message volume: Setting the ringer volume, messages tone volume.
  • Keyboard and keyboard volume: Setting the type of / disabling the keyboard touch sound. If the “Human voice” option is set, the entered digits will be announced loud when you press the keypad on the standby screen (e.g. when entering a telephone number to dial) .
  • To open / close the phone cover: Turn sounds on or off.

CAUTION:

  • Before exiting the menu, it is necessary to save the changes made to the settings (Option/ Save), otherwise they will be lost.

SIM card management

  • This is used to set the active SIM cards (only the selected SIM or both SIM cards).

Phone settings

  • Time and date: You can set Home city (the capital of the country where the phone is located), date, phone time and data format on the phone’s display. You can also use automatic time synchronization once the phone is connected to a GSM network. Scheduled on/off: Allows you to set the time for an automatic turn on or off of the phone. If the SIM lock is active, it will always be required when switching on automatically. Language: You can change the phone language.
  • Preferred input methods: you can set the preferred text input method.
  • View features: Allows you to set the standby screen wallpaper from preset or custom images and turn on the date and time display on the standby screen.
  • Centre key: Allows you to set the function quick access shortcuts (e.g. Calculator, Alarm Clock) after pressing the appropriate navigation key in the standby mode.
  • Aircraft mode: The Aircraft mode is used to disable all the phone’s transmission and reception modes (e.g. turn off the GSM signal). Caution: During the flight, do not use this function but turn the entire unit off instead.
  • Advanced: Allows you to set level and time of the display backlight. To change the setting, press the right left ( )/right arrow (#).

SOS setting

  • Quick selection: For numeric keys 2-9 and the M1/M2 keys, you can assign a contact from the phonebook to use the speed dial feature. Press and hold the selected key in the standby screen mode to start dialling the assigned telephone number.

    • When the SOS function is enabled and the phone numbers are set, a loud warning sound sounds from the phone when you press and hold the SOS button and SOS messages are sent automatically. Once the SOS messages are sent, the phone automatically calls the preset phone numbers.
  • SOS number: The function is used to set telephone numbers for sending SOS SMS messages.

    • You can set up to 5 telephone numbers. Select the line with the blank entry and press Select. Select whether you want to select a contact from the phonebook or enter
      a number. Look up a required entry in the phonebook with the “up / down” arrows and save the selected contact with the “OK” button. You can change or remove a saved contact at any time using the “Option” function for the selected entry from the list of saved SOS contacts.
  • SOS SMS On/Off: When the SOS SMS function is enabled, after activating the SOS button, SMS messages are sent first and then the dialing of telephone numbers begins. When the function is disabled, the dialing of telephone numbers starts immediately after activating the SOS button.

  • SOS SMS: The function is used to set the text of the emergency SMS text message. Edit the text of the message using buttons 1-9 (in the same way as for a normal SMS message) and save the text. Instructions for entering text are described in a separate chapter.

    • Caution: Never set emergency service telephone numbers (112, 150, 155, 158, etc.) among the telephone numbers for SOS messages and SOS calls.
  • SOS alarm: Turn on / off the loud warning sound after activating the SOS button.

Security setting

Allows setting individual SIMs and phone security.

SIM 1 and 2 security:

  • PIN code: Enable and disable the PIN code.
  • Change PIN: Change PIN1 code.
  • Change PIN2: Change PIN2 code.

Phone security:

  • Phone lock: Enable or disable the phone lock. The default password is “1122”.
  • Change password: Change phone password and privacy.
  • Screen auto-lock: Auto-on screen lock locks the phone keys after a set period of inactivity.

Network setting

  • You can select to search for a cellular network either automatically or manually.
  • We recommend to keep the automatic mode selection. If in doubt, please consult with your network provider.

Connectivity

You can connect your mobile phone to wireless headphones or speakers via Bluetooth wireless technology. You can also send your captured photos to another device featuring the same technology.

  • Enable/Disable – enable or disable the function.
  • Visibility – while the function is enabled, your device will be visible to other devices featuring the same wireless transmission technology.
  • My device – searching for individual devices in the phone’s vicinity (the function must be enabled). Searching for individual devices may take up to several minutes. Once a device is found, you can pair both devices together after being prompted to enter a pairing code on both devices.
  • Search Audio – Use this function to connect wireless headphones, speakers etc.
  • Bluetooth name – The preset name “P012S” will be shown on other devices as your device’s identifier. The can be changed.
  • Advanced – Audio path – if headphones or a wireless speaker is connected, you can use the function to redirect the audio being played from the music player to a wireless device and back. The music will switch to a remote audio system and the phone’s sound will be muted.
  • Storage – Select the storage where the document sent from another phone will be stored.

Factory settings

  • You can reset some phone settings to their default values. The initial code to restore the factory settings: 1122.

CAUTION:

  • Restoring the factory settings may result in the loss of saved settings and data.

Entering Text

  • The unit offers several text input modes to allow you to enter text or data into your contacts, edit contact entries, search for names and type SMS messages.
  • If you want to change the input in method in the text entry mode, press „#“.
  • There are several keyboard modes to choose from: general (ABC), Czech (CS), automatic lowercase or uppercase, automatic uppercase first letter, or number mode. The selected text input method is displayed in the upper left corner of the screen.

Letters (big, normal)

  • Enter the editing page, press „#“ and switch the input mode to letter mode (e.g. “abc”), then use the number keys and the selected letters will appear on the screen.
  • Press the numeric button once to enter the first letter shown on the button, press twice quickly to enter the second letter. If the letter to be entered is located on the same button as the previous letter, wait for the cursor to reappear and then input the next letter.
  • If you want to enter “ok”, for example, you must press the “6” button three times to input “o”, then press the “5” button twice and the display will show “k”. Press the right soft button to delete the entered text.

Numbers

  • Switch to edit mode and press „#“ to change the input method to the numeric mode (e.g. „123“). Then use the numeric buttons and the display will show the relevant numbers. Individual 0-9 buttons represent the numbers from 0 to 9. To enter the required number press the corresponding key. Press the right soft button to delete the input number.
  • To enter punctuation marks from the selection, press “ ”. For quick selection of the most often used punctuation marks use the key “1” (press repeatedly).
  • To insert a space in the text, press the “0” key.

Care And Maintenance

Battery care

  • The unit is powered from the battery. The battery must be recharged when flat.
  • To reach the maximum power of a new battery, only charge a fully flat battery. Disconnect the charger from the mains socket and the unit if it’s not to be used.
  • Do not let a fully charged battery be charging longer than it’s necessary.
  • Overcharging may lead to shortening the battery’s lifetime. The temperatures influence the level to which the battery can be charged. Therefore, the battery must be left at room temperature before charging. The battery cannot be charged if its temperature exceeds 40 °C.
  • Use the battery only for the intended purpose and prevent it from short-circuiting.
  • A random short-circuit may occur if a metallic object causes direct connection between the positive (+) and negative (-) battery contact. Do not use a damaged battery. Do not leave the battery at hot or cold locations.
  • This will shorten its capacity and lifetime. A unit with a hot or cold battery may not function temporarily even if the battery is fully charged.
  • Do not put the batteries in fire as the may explode. Please dispose in accordance with local regulations.

Care and maintenance of the device

The following recommendations will help you to extend your phone’s lifetime.

  • Keep the unit and accessories out of the reach of small children. Keep your device dry. All kinds of fluids and humidity will lead to electronic circuitry malfunction.
  • Avoid keeping the unit in rooms with high ambient temperature. Hight temperatures may shorten the lifetime of electronic devices and deform or melt some plastics.
  • Do not attempt to open the unit in a different manner than is described in this manual. Unprofessional handling may lead to damaging the unit. When cleaning the unit, do not use aggressive chemicals or strong cleaning agents.

CAUTION

  • Use only supplied or approved spare accessories. Using non-original accessories may lead to the phone malfunction and void the warranty.

Warranty

Warranty Conditions

Warranty card is not a part of the device packaging.

This product is warranted for the period of 24 months from the date of purchase to the end-user. Warranty is limited to the following conditions. Warranty is referred only to the customer goods using for common domestic use. The claim for service can be applied either at dealer’s shop where the product was bought, or at below mentioned authorized service shops. The end-user is obligated to set up a claim immediately when the defects appeared but only till the end of warranty period.

The end user is obligated to cooperate to certify the claiming defects. Only completed and clean (according to hygienic standards) product will be accepted. In case of eligible warranty claim the warranty period will be prolonged by the period from the date of claim application till the date of taking over the product by end-user, or the date the end-user is obligated to take it over. To obtain the service under this warranty, end-user is obligated to certify his claim with duly completed following documents: receipt, certificate of warranty, certificate of installation.

This warranty is void especially if apply as follows:

  • Defects which were put on sale.
  • Wear-out or damage caused by common use.
  • The product was damaged by unprofessional or wrong installation, used in contrary to the applicable instruction manual, used in contrary to legal enactment and common process of use or used for another purpose which has been designed for.
  • The product was damaged by uncared-for or insufficient maintenance.
  • The product was damaged by dirt, accident of force majeure (natural disaster, fire, and flood).
