Product Description

The HA967V-000 | FOSC450-C6-6-24-1-C3V is a single-ended, O-ring sealed dome closure designed for splicing feeder and distribution cables. It features gel cable sealing technology that allows easy adding or removing of a wide size range of cables. The closure is compatible with most common cable types, including loose tube, central core, and ribbon fiber. It can be used in aerial, pedestal, and underground environments (up to 5 meters) and is compatible with CommScope’s CWDM modules and optical splitter trays.

Product Usage Instructions

The HA967V-000 | FOSC450-C6-6-24-1-C3V dome closure is designed for splicing feeder and distribution cables. It is compatible with most common cable types, including loose tube, central core, and ribbon fiber. The closure can be used in aerial, pedestal, and underground environments (up to 5 meters).

When using the FOSC450-C6-6-24-1-C3V closure, ensure that the cable sealing type is compressed gel to allow for easy adding or removing of a wide size range of cables. The closure has a single-ended style and is sealed with a dome-to-base clamp with O-ring.

The closure comes with a 24-way heat shrink splice tray that is hinged for easy access to any splice without disturbing other trays. The closure can accommodate up to 864 fibers for mass fusion splicing and up to 192 fibers for single fusion splicing. It also has a splicing capacity of up to 192 fibers for single splice 12 fibers and up to 96 fibers for single splice 6 fibers.

Mounting options include pole, strand, and wall. The closure can be used in feeder network areas and has six round ports for cable entry. The maximum diameter for the main cable is 25 mm.

The HA967V-000 | FOSC450-C6-6-24-1-C3V closure is made of impact-resistant polymer and is intended for below ground or buried environmental spaces. It meets the IEC 61300, 5 m waterhead qualification standards and has a flash test valve at 5 psi (40 kPa) for water resistance.

The closure is compliant with CHINA-ROHS and ROHS regulations and is designed, manufactured, and/or distributed under the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system. It is also compliant as per SVHC revision on www.commscope.com/ProductCompliance for REACH-SVHC.
