UPDATING FIRMWARE
Instructions for updating Nitro Deck firmware.
STEP1
Open the Nitro Deck firmware .exe file on your Windows PC. STEP2
Connect the Nitro Deck to the Windows PC via USB.
STEP3
Press and hold the CRKD (Home) Button, Y &X simultaneously for 3 seconds to
enter update mode. The firmware will recognize the controller and device
status will be ONLINE.
STEP4.
Press the “Update Firmware” button. The status bar will say “SUCCESS” when
completed. The USB cable can be disconnected from Nitro Deck.
IMPORTANT
BEFORE ATTACHING THE SWITCH TO THE NITRO DECK:
OPEN SWITCH CONSOLE SETTINGS AND TURN ON SWITCH PRO CONTROLLER WIRED
CONNECTION FROM THE SWITCH HOME MENU, SELECT “SYSTEM SETTINGS” > “CONTROLLERS
AND SENSORS” > THEN TURN ON “PRO CONTROLLER WIRED COMMUNICATION”.
SETUP CONTINUED
DETACH JOY-CON CONTROLLERS
Remove the Joy-Con controllers and any cables from the Switch. Make sure the
Switch kickstand is closed.
ATTACH THE SWITCH
Lineup the Switch with the Nitro Deck and slide carefully together until they
dock. Keep the Switch straight while attaching. The Switch clicks into
position and is held securely.
To remove the Switch, slide the lever on the back of the Nitro Deck as shown. Keep holding the lever in position and slide the Switch out.
NITRO DECK LAYOUT
PLAY & CHARGE
The Power Adapter supplied with the Switch can be connected to the USB INPUT
on the back of the Nitro Deck. The Power Adapter supports playing game
software while also charging the Switch. NOTE: The Nitro Deck does not include
a battery.
WIRED MODE OPERATION
The Nitro Deck can be used as a Wired Controller while the Switch is in the
dock and plugged into a television, With the Nitro Deck in Handheld Mode,
press and hold L3, R3 and (+) at the same time for 3sec and release (press
down vertically on both Sticks). The Home (CRKD) button LED changes to Orange
to indicate Wired Mode. Press and hold both L3, R3 and (+) again to change
back to Handheld mode.
The Home (CRKD) button LED changes to white indicating you are back in
standard handheld mode.
Note: While in Wired Mode, play not possible with the Switch docked in

PROGRAMMING BACK BUTTONS (S1-S4)
You can program a single input or a series of inputs.
STEP1
Press and hold the Program (PROG) button on back of the Nitro Deck for 3
seconds until the Home (CRKD) button starts to flash purple. Release the
Program (PROG) button.
STEP2
While the Home (CRKD) button flashing purple, press the desired inputs you
would like to assign to the back buttons.
STEP3
When you have finished entering commands, press either S1, 52, S3 or S4 to map
the chosen commands to the S button. This completes the mapping process, and
the Home (CRKD) button LED will turn solid purple then back to white to
signify the remapping has been successful.
RESETTING AND CLEARING BACK BUTTONS (S1-S4)
You can reset to default or entirely clear the back buttons from any function.
RESETTING A SINGLE BUTTON
Hold the Program (PROG) button for 3 seconds until the CRKD LED flashes
purple. Press the back button you want reset. This will reset the button to
its default programming.
RESETTING ALL BUTTONS TO FACTORY SETTINGS
Hold the Program (PROG) button for 5 seconds. CRKD LED wil flash purple and
then turn solid purple. Release Program (PROG) button while LED is solid
purple, and it wi return to white. This resets all back buttons to factory
settings.
DISABLING BACK BUTTONS
Hold the Program (PROG) button for 7 seconds. CRKD LED will flash purple and
then turn solid purple then white and the Nitro Deck wil vibrate. This clears
and disables all programming so the back buttons become inactive.
ADJUSTING LED BRIGHTNESS
‘The Nitro Deck Home (CRKD) button features an LED to show the play mode and
other settings. The LED brightness can be adjusted or set to OFF using the
Program button on the back of the Nitro Deck. Each press of the Program button
decreases the brightness, and the last setting sets the LED to OFF. Note:
Adjusting some Nitro Deck settings will turn the LED ON.
CONFIGURING TURBO SETTING
Turbo mode will allow the Nitro Deck to spam a button at the speed of your
choice.
STEP1
Press and hold ZL and Minus Button (-) for 2 seconds. The CRKD LED will flash
green.
STEP2
Choose your turbo speed by pressing the plus (+) button to crease turbo rate
and minus (-) button to decrease turbo rate. After choosing turbo speed press
the button you want turbo applied to..
‘The Home (CRKD) button will now turn solid green signi you are in turbo mode
& button has been assigned.
When you hold your assigned turbo button, the CRKD LED flash at the same rate
as your chosen speed.
To leave turbo mode, press and hold ZL and the minus (-) button for 4 seconds.
The CRKD LED will flash green then turn white to signify you are back in
normal mode.
CONFIGURING RUMBLE SETTING
The Nitro Deck features two rumble motors, and each side can be adjusted
individually to six different settings.
STEP1
To adjust the left rumble motor, press and hold “L” and Plus Button (#) for
3 seconds. To adjust the right rumble motor, press and hold “R” and Plus
Button (+) for 3 seconds. When the Home (CRKD) LED starts flashing RED, you
can begin adjusting the rumble intensity.
STEP2
Select the desired rumble setting by pressing the plus (+) button to and minus
(-) button to decrease it.
After the rumble setting has been adjusted, the Home (CRKD) button LED will
turn back to white after 5 seconds if no further adjustments are made.
Note: Each level is a small incremental change and very subtle.
CONFIGURING TRIGGER BUTTON ACTUATION SETTING
The Nitro Deck’s trigger buttons can be adjusted to three different travel
settings.
STEP1
Press and hold “ZL” and Plus Button (+) for 3 seconds. When the Home (CRKD)
button LED starts flashing Cyan, you can begin adjusting the trigger button
actuation settings.
STEP2
Use the plus (+) button to increase travel and minus (-) button to decrease
it.
After the trigger button actuation setting has been adjusted, the Home (CRKD)
button LED will turn back to white after 5 seconds if no further adjustments
are made.
Note: Turn on rumble for haptic feedback during adjustment.
NO DEAD ZONE MODE
Press and hold ZL and Capture Button for 3 seconds, The Home (CRKD) button LED
will change to BLUE and then revert to WHITE after 8 seconds, indicating that
the stick dead zone has been decreased.
To change back to default, Press and hold ZL and Capture Button for 3 seconds.
The Home (CRKD) button LED’will change to BLUE and then revert to WHITE after
8 seconds, indicating that the stick dead zone is back to default.
Recommende: It is recommended to calibrate both sticks in the Switch system
settings (Calibrate Control Sticks) after adjusting the stick dead zone,
before starting your gameplay. STICK TOPPER REPLACEMENT
- Remove each Topper by gently rotating and pulling upwards.
- Replace a Topper by placing onto the Stick and pressing down firmly.
TAP AND COLLECT
The Nitro Deck contains an RFID touchpoint. Use the CRKD app and an NFC-
antenna enabled smartphone to add the Nitro Deck to your collection. The CRKD
app includes complete instructions and videos on how to tap your device. Scan

from defects in materials and/or warkmanship for the length of time specified

Use and handling
- Before use, check that there is plenty of space around you.
- When using the controller, arip it firmly and make sure it cannot slip out of your hand.

Exterior protection
Follow the instructions below to help prevent the product exterior from
deteriorating or becoming discoloured.
Dot place any rubber o vinyl materials on the product exterior for an extended
period. Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the product. Do not use Solvents or
other chemicals.

- Avoid prolonged use of this product. Take a break at about 30 minute intervals.
- Stop using this unit immediately if you begin to feel tired or if you experience discomfort or pain in your hands or arms during use. If the condition persists consult a doctor.
- This product is intended for use with your hands only, do not bring it into close contact with your head, face or the bones of any other part of the body.
- The vibration function of this product can aggravate injuries, do not use the vibration function if you have any ailment or injury to the bones, oints or muscles of your hands or arms. You can turn on o turn off the vibration function from (Settings) on the function screen.
- Permanent hearing loss may occur if the headset or headphones are used at high volume. Set the volume to a safe level. Over time, increasingly loud audio may start to sound normal but can actually be damaging to your hearing. If you experience ringing or any discomfort in your ears or muffled speech, stop listening and have your hearing checked. The louder the volume, the sooner your hearing could be affected. To protect your hearing:
- Limit the amount of time you use headset o headphones at high volume.
- Avoid raising the volume to black out noisy surroundings.
- Lower the volume if you can’t hear people speaking near you.
- Do not stare at the light on the controller when it is biinking, f you experience discomfort or pain anywhere in or on your body from light stimulation, stop using immediately.
- Never disassemble or modify the product
