Connecting Fuel Tank

Fuel Pump Use Steps

  1. Tighten the fuel pump to the fuel tank port of the generator.
  2. Use a fuel hose to connect the external fuel tank to the fuel pump.
  3. Connect the 12V DC power cable to the 12V DC power plug, and then connect to the fuel pump.
  4. Start the generator and insert the 12V DC power plug into the 12V DC socket of the generator when the motor is stable.
  5. Press the switch on the fuel pump panel, the red light will be on, and the fuel pump will start to work after 5 seconds, and enter the state of automatic cycle refuelling.

ATTENTION
Note: Before assembling the Electronic Fuel Pump to the tank, make sure that the depth of the Fuel tank should be greater than 3.74inch, the diameter of the fuel tank port is 2.17 inches, and the pitch is approximately 0.18 inches.

Indicator Light:

  • Standby: The green indicator light flashes 1 time per second
  • Working: the green indicator light is always on
  • Forced shutdown: the red indicator light flashes 2 times per second

The fuel pump will check the fuel level before starts. When the fuel level is high, the fuel pump will not work, at this time, the fuel pump is in standby mode and the green indicator light is flashing; When the fuel level is low, the fuel pump will start to work, and the green light will be on, when the fuel level is high, and the fuel pump will stop, the fuel pump will enter in standby mode.
Tip: If the fuel pump has not reached the high fuel level after 10 minutes of continuous operation, it will be forced to stop and enter in the protection mode. At this time, it is necessary to check whether there is no gasoline in the fuel tank or the fuel pipe is blocked, or the fuel pump does not work. After the forced shutdown, you need to disconnect the power or press the on/off key to unlock (every time you press the on/off key, you will wait for 5 seconds before starting).

Storage The Fuel Pump

  1. Please refer to the generator instruction manual and turn off the generator;
  2. Remove the power plug of the fuel pump and the fuel hose connected to the fuel pump;
  3. Remove the fuel pump and cover the fuel tank cover of the generator; 4. Remove the fuel hose from the external fuel tank and turn the ventilation knob on the fuel tank cover to OFF.

NOTE: Fuel pump, gasoline hoses and fuel tanks should be stored in a clean and dry area, away from direct sunlight and away from fire sources.

ATTENTION
This product is a “temporary” automatic fuel tank refill device. Do not use this product unguarded. If a fault or abnormal situation occurs, disconnect the power supply immediately.
