porcelain and stoneware mugs. Follow these guidelines to prevent damage and
personal injury.
Handling and Heating:
- Avoid extreme heat sources like stovetop, broiler, BBQ grill, microwave, etc.
- Avoid rapid temperature changes when cooking or reheating. Do not use for specific tasks like boiling water or microwaving certain foods.
- Avoid handling with wet or cold cloths to prevent burns.
Cleaning and Care
- Avoid abrasive cleansers or scouring pads.
- Do not soak stoneware for extended periods.
- Clean carefully with non-abrasive materials.
Usage of Lids
- Lids can be used for serving, reheating, and storing food.
- Check compatibility with different heating sources like ovens and microwaves.
- Clean lids on the top rack of the dishwasher.
Cleaning Instructions
Use non-abrasive cleansers and cleaning pads for different materials like
Vitrelle glass, stoneware, porcelain, and plastic lids. Hand wash plastic or
nylon components.

These instructions apply to Corelle® Vitrelle® glass dinnerware products,
including Plates and Bowls, Stoneware and Porcelain Mugs, and Serving Pieces.
Note: For Corelle Everyday Dinnerware and Corelle Stoneware Dinnerware, refer
to those separate Safety, Use and Care instructions.
WARNING
All dinnerware can break, including glass plates and bowls, and porcelain and
stoneware mugs. You can help prevent damage and personal injury by following
these guidelines.
DINNERWARE
- When used near extreme heat, glass, stoneware and porcelain dinnerware can break. DO NOT use with:

Notes
- The safest place for hot items to cool is on a cooling rack, dry potholder or dry cloth.
- DO NOT boil water in any Corelle item on a stovetop. Corelle mugs are suitable for boiling water in a microwave ONLY; please handle with care as mug will be hot after heating.
- If handled or cleaned improperly, glass, stoneware and porcelain dinnerware can scratch or develop fine cracks, and can eventually break.

- If items break, USE CARE when picking up sharp pieces to avoid cuts.

- Be sure to vent lid when heating food in the microwave.

Notes
- Always preheat standard oven and standard convection oven before inserting glassware for reheating (maximum of 350˚F / 176˚C).
- To warm empty dishes for serving, use a preheated standard oven only (maximum of 350˚F / 176˚C).
- Handle hot items with a potholder or dry cloth.
- Place stoneware mugs on a placemat or hot pad to avoid scratching counter top and table surfaces.
- Use care with tomato and acidic sauces since they can stain plastic covers.

- Before first use, wash dinnerware items thoroughly.
- Allow items to cool before placing in sink or water.
- When using a dishwasher, load items to avoid bumping against other items.
- Do not heat stoneware mugs in the microwave after soaking in water to avoid cracking.
