Possible symptoms of battery consumption:

Unfortunately, it is not always obvious when a button or coin battery is stuck in a child’s esophagus.
The child might:
cough, gag, or drool excessively; appear to have an upset stomach or a virus; be sick; point to their throat or stomach; have pain in their abdomen, chest, or throat; be tired or lethargic;

These symptoms may vary or fluctuate, with pain increasing and then subsiding.

A symptom of button and coin battery ingestion is vomiting fresh (bright red) blood.

This marking on the product, accessories or literature and without the bar on batteries indicates that the product, battery, and its electronic accessories (such as a charger, a headset, USB cable) should not be disposed of with other household waste.
