PAW45001 Power Whisk
Your new Power Whisk has been fitted at the factory with a plain shaft as
shown in Figure A. However, your mixer may not be compatible with this design
and you may need to change the shaft for the additional one supplied.
Please look at the bowl tools supplied with your mixer and check which type of
shaft is fitted. If the shaft has a clip as shown in Figure B, you will need
to replace the shaft on the Power Whisk. Using a spanner loosen the nut on the
shaft 1 and then turn the shaft anti-clockwise until it is released. Replace
with the shaft with the clip fitted and tighten the nut.
Adjust the height of the Power whisk using the following procedure. For best
performance the whisk should be almost touching the bottom of the bowl 3.
- Unplug the mixer.
- Raise the mixer head and insert the whisk.
- Lower the mixer head. If the clearance needs to be adjusted raise the mixer head and remove the whisk.
- Using a spanner loosen the nut 1 sufficiently to allow adjustment of the shaft 2. To lower the whisk closer to the bottom of the bowl, turn the shaft anti-clockwise. To raise the whisk away from the bottom of the bowl turn the shaft clockwise.
- Re-tighten the nut.
- Fit the whisk to the mixer and lower the mixer head. Check its position 3.
- Repeat the above steps as necessary until the whisk is set correctly. Once this is achieved tighten the nut securely.
