IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using an electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should be observed, including the following:

  • Read all instructions carefully.
  • To protect against the risk of electric shock, do not put the  stand mixer, power cord or electrical plug in water or any other liquid.
  • This device should not be used by children. Keep the appliance and the power cord out of the reach of children.
  • The device can be used by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities or a lack of experience and knowledge if they have received supervision or instructions concerning the safe use of the device and if they include the risks involved.
  • Children should not play with the device.
  • Unplug the appliance after use, before cleaning it and before changing accessories.
  • Avoid contact with moving parts. Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply when it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning it.
  • Do not use accessories other than those supplied with the device.
  • To unplug, turn it off, hold the electrical plug, and pull it from the  wall outlet. Never yank the cord abruptly.
  • Never bring your hands, hair, clothes or utensils near the mixer, whisk, kneader or moving discs during work; you could seriously  injure yourself and damage the device.
  • Keep hands, hair, clothing, as well as spatulas and other utensils away from the mixer whisk, beater or kneader when the appliance is in operation to avoid personal injury and/or damage to the robot pastry cook.
  • Remove the beaters from the stand mixer before washing them. A scraper can be used but only when the device is not working.
  • To avoid a hazard, have the damaged power cord replaced by the manufacturer, an authorized agent or a qualified person.
  • The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer may result in a risk of fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
  • Do not use the device outdoors. Your device must be placed on a horizontal surface, clean and stable during use.
  • Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or counter, or touch hot surfaces, including the stove.
  • Mixing flammable non-food substances can be dangerous.
  • Do not use this device for purposes other than those for which it was designed.
  • Do not operate in the presence of explosive and/or flammable fumes.
  • To disconnect, turn the speed control to “0”, then remove the electrical plug from the wall outlet.
  • WARNING: In order to avoid any danger linked to an accidental resetting of the thermal circuit breaker, the power supply of this device must not be carried out by means of a device external switching device, such as a timer, or by connection to an electrical circuit which is regularly switched on and off by the public network.

ADDITIONAL SAFETY INFORMATION

  • Polarized outlet – appliance is  a polarized outlet – one blade is wider than the other. To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug will fit only one way into a polarized outlet.
  •  If the plug cannot be fully inserted into the electrical outlet, reverse the position. If it still cannot be inserted properly, contact your licensed electrician.
  • Do not attempt to remove this safety feature by modifying the socket in any way.

Suitable for use in contact with food.

It is forbidden to replace the power cable by yourself. If damaged, it should be repaired by the local distributors service department, the manufacturer or a similarly qualified person.

BEFORE USING THE PASTRY PROBOT

Before assembling the robot, make sure the power cord is unplugged from the power outlet and the speed selector is in position 0.

  1. By pressing the tilt button, the head of the device automatically releases and locks in the raised position.

  2.  Select the desired accessories, which depend on the task to be performed: beater for mixing and beating the egg, dough hook for kneading, whisk for beating and frothing the egg white. Directly insert the beater/dough hook/whisk until it locks. turning it counterclockwise until the pins engage and the accessory locks firmly.
    Note: Make sure the beater, dough hook or whisk is fully inserted into the socket, otherwise your mixing results may be affected. (fig.1) To place it, Place the bowl in the place assigned to it. First place the bowl on the base, then turn the bowl clockwise until it locks into position (see fig.2).

  3. To lower the head and place the mixer/dough hook/beater in the bowl by holding the head with one hand and gently lowering the head. A click is heard when the head has reached the correct position.

USE OF PASTRY PROBOT

Make sure the speed selector is in the 0 position, then plug in the power source.

  1. Turn the speed selector to the desired setting, low speed 1-3 speed is used for kneader, medium speed 4-6 speed is used for mixer whisk, and the highest speed is used for beater whisk. Warning: Do not position a knife, metal spoons, fork, etc. in the bowl when in use.

  2. The maximum operating time per cycle must not exceed 6 minutes and a minimum rest time of 20 minutes must be observed between two consecutive cycles. When kneading a yeast-based dough, it is advisable to use the speed selector first at low speed and then at high speed in order to obtain the best results.
    Note:During kneading, some flour may adhere to the inside of the bowl, you need to remove the lid of the bowl and scrape the flour on the inner wall of the bowl with a spatula to achieve good kneading results. When kneading, you should remove the bowl cover after the flour and water are mixed completely, in order to avoid its shaking or falling off.

  3. When blending is complete, turn the speed selector to position 0, unplug the cord from the outlet.

  4. Hold down the tilt button, the head will automatically lift and lock into the tilt position. Warning: Before pressing the tilt button (i.e. before lifting the stand mixer head), make sure the beater, whisk and kneader are resting on both sides of the stand mixer head. robot, otherwise, when you lift the mixer head, the beater or whisk or a dough hook will engage in the mixer bowl; if the beater or whisk or dough hook rests on the front of the mixer head, you must turn the speed selector back on, let the beater run for a few seconds, then turn the speed selector off to stop the beater or whisk or dough hook on both sides of mixer head.

  5. If necessary, you can remove excess mixture from the beaters or dough hooks with a plastic spatula.

  6. Pull the beater/dough hook/whisk with a little force. It is recommended to hold the accessory firmly to remove it more easily. Warning: The speed selector must be in position 0 and the power plug must be unplugged before removing the accessories.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  1. Unplug the appliance and wait until it has completely cooled down before cleaning it.
    Warning: the blender cannot be immersed in water or any other liquid.

  2. Wipe the outer surface of the head and base with a damp cloth and  buff with a soft, dry cloth.

  3. Wipe any excess food particles from the power cord.

  4. Immerse the bowl, beater, spatula, dough hook and whisk in warm soapy water for thorough cleaning. Then rinse under running water and pat dry. Please note that the accessories are not dishwasher safe.

KITCHEN TIPS

  1. Chilled ingredients, such as butter and eggs, should be at room temperature before your preparation begins. Prepare these ingredients in advance.
  2. To eliminate the possibility of shells or spoiled eggs in your recipe, first crack the eggs into a separate container, then add them to the mixture.
  3. Do not beat the preparations too much. Be sure to mix only until the recipe recommends it. Stir in dry ingredients only until just combined. Always use slow speed.
  4. Weather conditions. Temperature changes the temperature of the ingredients and their variation in texture from area to area all play a role in the mixing time required and the results achieved.

IMPORTANT WARRANTY
Always start blending on the lowest speed. When the ingredients form a smooth paste, gradually increase to the speed recommended in the recipe card. NEVER PLACE THE BEATER, WHISK AND DOUGH HOOK IN THE DISHWASHER.
