Connection and Fixing

Select a suitable bracket for mounting the SCT M750BWT. In the package you have a choice of two options.
A) The suction cup mount is suitable for attaching to smooth and degreased surfaces of your car.
B) Bracket for the ventilation grille of your car.

Connection:
Connect the power adapter to the SCT M750BWT and plug it into a 12 – 24 V on- board car socket. If there is voltage in the on-board socket, the SCT M750BWT will start automatically.
Some vehicles have the on-board car socket still switched on, in which case disconnect the car adapter from the on-board socket before leaving the vehicle.

Caution:

  • Always position the SCT M750BWT so that it does not obstruct your view while driving.
  • Secure the device so that it will not come loose during sudden braking and cause injury to health or property.
  • Always keep your full attention on the steering while driving.
  • Observe and respect local traffic regulations. The SCT M750BWT attachment may not always be permitted in all countries when driving on public roads.

Caution:

  • Adjust the display settings to avoid glare while driving.
  • Do not leave the power adapter unattended in the car socket. Some car sockets may be energised even when the engine is switched off.
  • Always disconnect the SCT M750BWT and the power adapter after driving and put them in a safe place. Avoid theft and possible damage to your car.
  • Do not use the SCT M750BWT on bicycles, motorcycles or ATVs.
  • The SCT M750BWT and the power adapter are not waterproof.
  • The SCT M750BWT must always be positioned in the direction of travel.

Settings (“L”)

Before using the device for the first time, set up the device according to your needs.

General:

  • Language – select the language in which the device will be set up. The setting does not apply to apps that are downloaded from the mobile phone via Android Auto /Carplay.
  • FM Settings – use the arrow keys or slide your finger on the horizontal scale to select an available FM station on which the SCT M750BWT will transmit an audio signal. Tune the same frequency on your car radio.
    At the bottom of the screen, the SCT M750BWT can be turned ON/OFF.

Caution:
Always use free FM stations to avoid overlapping with a commercial FM station.

  • Autolink APK – if you want to perform screen mirroring on your Android phone. Download and install the app to open this feature on your phone. Use the app to mirror the screen from the QR code link.
  • WLAN – parameters to set up Wifi connection. Your phone will communicate with the SCT M750BWT via Wifi. The SSID will be visible in your Wifi connections. The connection password is preset.
  • SmartPhone – set the type of connection between your phone and the SCT M750BWT. Select your preferred transfer type/function according to your phone’s operating system.
  • Backlight – adjust the brightness, saturation, colour and contrast levels of the display to suit your needs. Quick switching of the brightness attenuation of the DAY/NIGHT is done by pressing the “D” icon in the main menu.
  • Version – build version of the preinstalled system
  • Updates – when a new version of the SCT M750BWT system is available, which can be found on the product’s website at www.sencor.com

Equaliser:
If you don’t have the Equaliser set up on your device, you can set it up in the Equaliser tab. At the bottom of the display,
you can select from preset equalisers (Classic / Rock / Jazz / Electric / Pop / Gentle / Standard / User). Selecting an
equaliser type and then editing it will move it to the User type.
To reset the set station, press “Reset” in the bottom right corner.

Sound:
Volume – set the volume level of the transmitted sound
Microphone – signal level setting

Multimedia (“K”)

Bt phone:
If a mobile phone is connected to the SCT M750BWT and Android Auto / Carplay is not in use, the following menu items will be available:

  • Dial – enter the phone number using the keypad and press
    the green handset icon to start the call. To end the call,
    press the red handset icon. To turn the microphone off/on,
    press the Microphone button. The icon on the right side is
    used to change the default handset (SCT M750BWT / your
    mobile phone). The 9-dot icon is used to display the keypad with DTMF tones (touch your finger outside the digits to return to the ongoing call menu).

  • Phonebook – the phonebook is loaded from your mobile phone into positions sorted alphabetically. Press the handset icon in the line to start a call with the selected contact.
    The trash can icon in the upper right corner is used to temporarily remove the entire list.

  • Call log – list of last made and missed calls (green handset icon – outgoing call, blue handset icon – incoming call, red handset icon – missed call)

  • Search BT – Press the magnifying glass icon in the top right corner to start searching for available Bluetooth devices. This feature is only available when no phone or other portable device is connected to the SCT M750BWT.

  • Settings – set here whether the Bluetooth function should be on or off. The device name is preset from the factory and cannot be changed. Auto Answer is used to automatically answer an incoming call. When you select automatic connection, your phone will automatically connect to the SCT M750BWT via Bluetooth.

Bt music:
In Bluetooth mode without Android Auto / Carplay services running, Bt music will be unlocked for use. This function is used to remotely control your music player on your phone. Use the centre PLAY / PAUSE icon to start or pause the music being played. Use the forward (bottom right side of the display) /backward (bottom left side of the display) arrows to move to the next / previous tracks.

USB:
Insert a storage device with supported content (images, video files or audio files) into the USB-A port. After loading your storage media, the player will automatically start. Alternatively, you can start the player manually from the Menu/Multimedia/ USB menu.If the SCT M750BWT finds unsupported formats, you will be notified: File format not supported.

Caution:
Due to a number of devices on the market, compatibility and playback support are not guaranteed for all media.
The memory devices you want to connect should be tested in advance and/or formatted as FAT32. The playback of
protected media, files or content stored inside them may fail. The USB-A port is not used for charging portable devices. Do not connect drives with a power consumption greater than 2W to the USB-A port.

Apple CarPlay (“H”)

Connect your iPhone via Wifi or data cable using Apple CarPlay.

Wireless transmission:
Locate the SCT M750BWT on your iPhone via Bluetooth, connect to it. During pairing, you will be asked to confirm the pairing PIN. Your iPhone will automatically connect via Bluetooth and set up Wifi transmission to start Apple CarPlay.

Wired transmission:
Connect your iPhone with the original data cable (not included) to the SCT M750BWT. Confirm the connection of both devices on your iPhone. Apple CarPlay will start automatically.

For instructions on how to work with Apple CarPlay, contact your Apple manufacturer. The Car Home button is used to exit the Apple CarPlay environment to the main menu.

Android Auto (“I”)

Connect your phone via Wifi or data cable using Android Auto.
Make sure your device and version of Android supports Android Auto.

Wireless transmission:
Locate and connect to the SCT M750BWT on your phone via Bluetooth. During pairing, you will be asked to confirm the pairing PIN. Your phone will automatically connect via Bluetooth and set up Wifi transmission to start Android Auto.

Wired transmission:
Connect your phone with the original data cable (not included) to the SCT M750BWT. Confirm the connection of both devices on your phone. Android Auto will start automatically.

For instructions on how to work with Android Auto, contact your device manufacturer. To exit Android Auto from the main menu, press the EXIT button.

Tip for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay: If the phone is unable to automatically connect to the SCT M750BWT even if a Wifi connection is established, restart the SCT M750BWT by unplugging it from the car socket and letting it boot back into the main menu. Repeat the wireless connection. If the service does not start, connect the phone using the data cable so that the service is established this way. Then cancel the wired connection and repeat the wireless service start-up.

MirrorLink (“J”)

To get the mirroring function of your Android device working properly, download the app using the QR code (Menu/Settings/ General/AutoLink APK). Once installed and all rights are enabled, this feature will automatically start when your phone is connected.

AUX

To transfer audio from the SCT M750BWT to the car sound system, use the 3.5 mm Jack cable.

Caution:
Before connecting, make sure that both devices have had the volume turned down to the minimum level to avoid damaging the speakers.

Parking Camera

An additional rear camera is included. If the parking camera is connected correctly, the image will be automatically projected to the SCT M750BWT after engaging reverse gear of your vehicle.
The parking camera function overrides all other functions.

Connection:
Connect the parking camera to the AVIN socket on the SCT M750BWT. Pull the parking camera wire to the rear of your
car. Position the parking camera so that the parking lanes displayed match the actual parking lanes on the road. Connect the free red wire to the “+” pole of the reversing light. The SCT M750BWT switches to the parking camera display mode when the reverse gear is engaged and the reversing light is illuminated.

Caution:

  • Leave the installation of the parking camera to experts (car electricians).
  • Place the connection wire from the camera to the SCT M750BWT so that there is no interference (the wire must not be disturbed by other devices).
  • Position all components, the reversing camera, the wire and the SCT M750BWT in such a way that they do not affect driving safety and do not distract the driver.
  • The manufacturer is not liable for any damage caused to the vehicle during the assembly of individual components.
  • Avoid short circuits when assembling all components.
  • Check if your car has a “-” pole, otherwise do not install the parking camera.

Warranty conditions
Warranty card is not a part of the device packaging.

This product is warranted for the period of 24 months from the date of purchase to the end-user. Warranty is limited to the following conditions. Warranty is referred only to the customer goods using for common domestic use. The claim for service can be applied either at dealer’s shop where the product was bought, or at below mentioned authorized service shops. The end-user is obligated to set up a claim immediately when the defects appeared but only till the end of warranty period. The end user is obligated to cooperate to certify the claiming defects. Only completed and clean (according to hygienic standards) product will be accepted. In case of eligible warranty claim the warranty period will be prolonged by the period from the date of claim application till the date of taking over the product by end-user, or the date the end-user is obligated to take it over. To obtain the service under this warranty, end-user is obligated to certify his claim with duly completed following documents: receipt, certificate of warranty, certificate of installation.

This warranty is void especially if apply as follows:

  • Defects which were put on sale.
  • Wear-out or damage caused by common use.
  • The product was damaged by unprofessional or wrong installation, used in contrary to the applicable instruction manual, used in contrary to legal enactment and common process of use or used for another purpose which has been designed for.
  • The product was damaged by uncared-for or insufficient maintenance.
  • The product was damaged by dirt, accident of force majeure (natural disaster, fire, and flood).
  • Defects on functionality caused by low duality of signal, electromagnetic field interference etc.
  • The product was mechanically damaged (e.g. broken button, fall).

  • Repair, modification or other failure action to the product by unauthorized person.
  • End-user did not prove enough his right to claim (time and place of purchase).
  • Data on presented documents differs from data on products.
  • Cases when the claiming product cannot be indentified according to the presented documents (e.g. the serial number or the warranty seal has been damaged)
