the fuel rail may be pressurised even if the engine is not running.

Switch off vehicle’s ignition and disconnect the battery before commencing work under the bonnet.

You must follow the vehicle’s service manual cautions when working around the air bag system. If the cautions are not followed the air bag may deploy unexpectedly even after the ignition is turned ‘OFF’, resulting in personal injury.

Never lay tools on the vehicle’s battery. This may short the terminals together, causing harm to yourself, the tools, or the battery.

Always relieve fuel pressure before disconnecting fuel lines from injectors.

Use a cloth to cover fuel line fittings when connecting or disconnecting fuel lines. Avoid contact with fuel.

Clean up all fuel spills immediately and dispose of all used cloths properly.

Maintain the tool components in good and clean condition for best and safest performance.

When work on the vehicle is finished, ensure all connections on vehicle are restored, and that there are no tools left in the engine bay.

Air under pressure can cause severe injury.

INTRODUCTION
Fits most passenger and light commercial diesel injectors including Delphi, Denso, and Siemens. Uses vibration and pneumatic force to easily remove seized injectors. The set includes a pneumatic diesel injector puller, adaptors, an air hose and a control valve with a 1/4” BSP connector. Maximum air supply 116psi (8 bar). Storage case supplied.

OPERATION
-
Select and mount the appropriate connector to the injector concerned (internally or externally threaded).
NOTE : Tighten the connector to between 20 and 30 Nm. Screw the vibration unit carefully onto the connector. -
With the pneumatic supply set to between 5 and 8 bar, connect the air line to vibration unit ensuring that the control valve is set to the closed position.
NOTE : The air line should provide only clean dry air or the unit may become damaged. -
Open the control valve slowly to commence vibration and open it further or close it to adjust the rate of vibration.

When the injector is loose, shut off the air supply and carefully lift out the assembled unit.
-
Disassemble the unit and clean off the component parts using a clean and soft cloth.
-
Prior to replacing the unit in the case and after approximately 8 hours usage, place no more than 1ml of oil into the air inlet in order to prevent the units’ internals becoming wet and rusted.
ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the product becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and fluids according to local regulations.
