Assembly
Wear hand protection during assembly to avoid accidental injury.
-
Open the packing box and take out the nozzle (C), top light tube (F), and turntable (J) directly. Remove the main body (A) of this device from the box using its carrying handle and then disconnect the remaining packaging.
-
Lay the main body horizontally on a firm, level, and nonslip surface, allowing its base board to face upward. Open this board and take the remaining items listed in Package List out of the booth.
-
Lift the main body right side up as shown.
-
Unfold the left and right boards. Insert the plugs of the left and right bottom tubes (H & I) into the sockets beside the filter’s lower corners, pressing until they are locked into place.
Note: The two bottom tubes ARE different and should NOT be mixed up. The left tube is marked with an L and the right with an R.
-
Flip up the dual top board. Connect the side boards to its back part by inserting their tabs into the slots as shown
-
Fit the top light tube onto the left and right boards, ensuring its side tabs are well seated in the slots at the top of these side boards. Flip down the top board’s front part and secure it to the top light tube and side boards using their tabs and slots as shown.
-
Connect the right light tube (E) to the top light tube and right bottom tube using its plugs as described in Step 4. Install the left light tube (G) in the same fashion.
Note: The two LED light tubes are NOT interchangeable. The left tube is marked with an L and the right with an R.
-
Extend the exhaust hose (B) as needed. Attach the nozzle and sleeve (D) to the hose, screwing them into place.
-
Place the sleeve over the vent and secure it using the attached hose clamp.
-
Extend the exhaust hose as needed again and place the nozzle to an appropriate location (out of a window if using this device indoors)
-
Set the turntable onto a convenient position on the base board, usually the center of the dual base for best results.
-
Connect the power cord (L) to the power adapter (K) and then connect this adapter to the power inlet on this device. Being sure the light and fan knobs are turned completely counterclockwise, connect the power cord to a stable and compatible power source.
Operation
Make sure that everything has been correctly installed.
-
Turn the light knob clockwise until hearing a click. The three LED lights should come on at their highest brightness level. To lower the brightness, continue turning the knob clockwise. To raise the brightness, turn the knob counterclockwise.
-
Turn the fan knob clockwise until hearing a click. The exhaust fans should start working at their highest speed. To decrease the fan speed, continue turning the knob clockwise. To increase the speed, turn the knob counterclockwise.
-
Place your workpiece onto the turntable. Paint its external surface using your airbrush in one hand and rotate the turntable with the other hand.
-
When finished, stop your airbrush and the turntable. Continue running the device for at least 2 minutes to allow the exhaust system to fully discharge the remaining airborne particles.
-
Turn both knobs completely counterclockwise to shut down the lights and fans. Then, disconnect the device from power.
Troubleshooting
Possible Problems | Usual Solutions |
---|---|
LED Lights Not Working | Check that the booth is properly plugged into a |
working power source and its power adapter’s plug is firmly and fully inserted
into its power inlet.
Confirm that the LED light tubes are securely connected.
Replace any problematic LED light tubes with new identical ones.
Ventilation Not Working| Check that the booth is properly plugged into a
working power source and its power adapter’s plug is firmly and fully inserted
into its power inlet.
Have a trained technician inspect the exhaust fans and other related internal
components. Have any problematic parts repaired or replaced with new identical
ones.
Inadequate Ventilation| Consider the booth’s location. For indoor use,
ensure that its nozzle is placed out of a window.
Ensure that the filter, vent, nozzle, and exhaust hose are clean and
unclogged. Remove any dirt or obstructions or replace the filter with a new
identical one as needed.
Have a trained technician inspect the exhaust fans and other related internal
components. Have any problematic parts repaired or replaced with new identical
ones.
Excessive Noise or Vibration| Ensure that the booth is placed on a
stable and level surface.
Have a trained technician inspect the exhaust fans and other related internal
components for looseness, wear, and damage. Have any problematic parts
retightened, lubricated, or replaced with new identical ones.
Maintenance
- Turn off and unplug this device between uses and before undertaking any inspection, cleaning, maintenance, or repair.
- After each use, remove the turntable, rinse away the remaining paint, and dry it completely with a soft cloth. Clean the boards, filter, and other external surfaces of this device with a soft damp cloth. Do not use harsh abrasives or caustic chemicals.
- Periodically check the exhaust system of this device for any obstructions, clearing the vent, exhaust hose, nozzle, etc. using a dry brush or other similar tools as needed. Also inspect the other components for any wear, breakage, or malfunction between uses, repairing or replacing any problematic parts before further use. Only use identical parts and always fully replace any damaged electrical connections.
- If this device is not to be used for an extended period of time, unplug, clean, and fully dry it before storing in a cool dry location inaccessible to children and away from direct light and rain.
