preparing for use
Tip : Clean the cone, sieve, and sieve holder before you use the appliance for the first time
- Put the plug in the wall socket.
- If necessary, wind the excess cord around the reel in the bottom of the appliance. To fix the cord, push it firmly into the opening at the back of the appliance (Fig. 1).
- Put the appliance on a firm, level surface outside the reach of children
using the appliance
- Remove the protective cover (Fig. 2).
- Put a glass under the spout.
- Push down the spout to open it (Fig. 3).
- Press a halved fruit firmly onto the cone. (Fig. 4)
- , The appliance starts to work automatically.
- Push up the spout after use to ensure that no juice drips out of the appliance (Fig. 5).
- Tip : The appliance is easier to clean if you do so immediately after use
cleaning
- Unplug the appliance after use.
- Remove the cone, sieve, and sieve holder from the appliance (Fig. 6).
- Push down the spout completely to be able to clean it properly (Fig. 7). You cannot detach the spout from the sieve holder.
- Rinse the cone, sieve, and sieve holder under the tap and clean them with some washing-up liquid (Fig. 8). You can also clean these parts in the dishwasher.
- Clean the motor unit with a moist cloth. Never immerse the motor unit in water nor rinse it under the tap
Environment
,Do not throw away the appliance with the normal household waste at the end of its life, but hand it in at an official collection point for recycling. By doing this, you help to preserve the environment (Fig. 9).
