VANTRUE BT02 Bluetooth Remote Control
Product Introduction
The Bluetooth remote control is designed specifically for Vantrue dash cams
and supports wireless control of the dash cam’s core functions. Through a
Bluetooth connection, users can easily capture photos, lock recordings, and
toggle the microphone on and off, enhancing both safety and convenience while
driving.

Function Description
- Capture Photos: Press the photo button on the remote control to immediately capture key moments during your drive.
- Lock Recording: Press the lock button to quickly lock the current video segment to prevent it from being overwritten.
- Microphone On/Off: Press the microphone button to turn the recording on or off at any time.
- Display Switch: For certain models, long-press a specified button to switch between different camera views.
Connection Instructions
- Turn on Bluetooth: Ensure the Bluetooth function on the dash cam is enabled.
- Pair the Remote Control:
- Enter the dash cam’s Bluetooth settings menu and select “Bluetooth Remote Control.”
- Press any button on the remote control, and the dash cam will automatically search for and pair with the device.
- Once paired, the dash cam will display “Bluetooth connection successful” on the screen.
Installation Steps
- Select a suitable position to install the remote control, such as next to the steering wheel or on the inside of the car door, ensuring it is easy to operate.
- Use the included adhesive pad to firmly attach the remote control to the desired location.
Battery Replacement
- If the remote control stops responding, it may be time to replace the battery.
- Open the battery cover on the back of the remote control, remove the old battery, and install a new one.
- Ensure the correct polarity of the battery and close the battery cover.
Common Issues
Unable to connect Bluetooth:
- Check if the Bluetooth on the dash cam is turned on.
- Ensure the remote control is functioning with sufficient battery power.
- If the issue persists, restart the dash cam and re-pair the device.
Buttons are not responding:
- Check if the remote control is successfully paired with the dash cam.
- Replace the battery in the remote control.
Precautions
- Do not place the remote control in high-temperature or humid environments.
- The remote control is waterproof, but avoid prolonged exposure to water.
- To ensure safe driving, it is recommended to operate advanced features of the remote control only when the vehicle is parked.
