  • To eliminate unnecessary wear and improve its lifespan, during periods of non-use completely disconnect the product from power via a breaker or by unplugging it.

This product has an auto-ranging power supply that can work with an input voltage range of 100–240 VAC, 50/60 Hz.

Power Linking
You can link up to 7 onAir Flex Drive 2 products at 100 V, 8 products at 120 V, 13 products at 208 V, 14 products at 230 V, or 15 products at 240 V. Never exceed this number. Power linking cords can be purchased separately.
DMX Connection
The onAir Flex Drive 2 will work with a DMX controller using a 5-pin DMX data connection. A DMX Primer is available from www.chauvetprofessional.com.
RDM (Remote Device Management)
Remote Device Management, or RDM, is a standard for allowing DMX-enabled devices to communicate bi-directionally along existing DMX cabling. Check the DMX controller’s User Manual or with the manufacturer as not all DMX controllers have this capability. The onAir Flex Drive 2 supports RDM protocol that allows feedback to make changes to menu map options. Download the User Manual from www.chauvetprofessional.com for more details.

The onAir Flex Drive 2 can support up to 600 quad-color LEDs per output, or up to 1200 quad-color LEDs in total.

Mounting

  • The onAir Flex Drive 2 comes with 1 long rack ear and 2 short rack ears for mounting 1 or 2 products in a standard 19” rack or for mounting on a wall or other surface.
  • Make sure the mounting surface and hardware are capable of supporting the weight of the product.
