APPLICATION INSTRUCTION GAVATEX ACUSTIC
ATTENTION
Check the product before application
Any defect should be claimed at this stage
Application of the product implies acceptance of the same
When covering adjacent surfaces, use only rolls with identical serial number,
printed on the outside of the box
SURFACE PREPARATION:
The surface must be perfectly dry, clean and stable
Remove old wall-coverings which could come off
In case of highly absorbent walls, it is recommended to treat the surface with
GAVADES adhesive diluted with 50%-70% water
APPLICATION:
Prepare the fabric allowing for 5-10 cm in excess of the height of the wall
GAVATEX ACUSTIC1 is fire-proof, class B-s1,d0
Spread evenly GAVADES diluted with 10% water on the wall by means of a
roller
To obtain a better aesthetic effect, spread on the dry fabric a new layer of
GAVADES diluted with 30% water by means of a roller
Consumption 350-600 g/m².
Apply the fabric and press with a trowel from the center towards the edges to
draw off air bubbles and to improve adherence
Join the fabric rolls side by side without overlapping them
Trim the exceeding fabric using a cutter.
FINISHING AND PAINTING:
When the glue is dry apply two layers of paint
It is recommended to use acrylic or washable paints, glossy or matt water-
based enamels.
Suitable colors and finishing techniques offer a wide range of decorative
effects in order to achieve a rich variety o harmonious patterns in every
environment
