| Install the handlebar extension kit.
Note: Retain all removed parts for later installation unless otherwise indicated.
1. Shut off the machine, remove the electric-start button, wait for all movement to stop, and allow the machine to cool.
2. Remove the operator-presence control cable from the handlebar ( Figure 1 ).

3. Disconnect the removed cable from the operator-presence bail bracket by angling the cable fitting free ( Figure 2 ).

4. Remove the other end of the removed cable from the motor.
Important: Note how the cable is connected to the motor; the new cable is installed in the same way.
5. Remove the 2 handwheel knobs, washers, and U-bolts that secure the upper handlebar to the lower handlebar ( Figure 3 ).

6. Secure the handlebar extension to the lower handlebar using the 2 handwheels and 2 U-bolts provided ( Figure 4 ).

7. Using the 2 handwheels and 2 U-bolts you removed in step 5 , secure the upper handlebar to the handlebar extension ( Figure 3 ).
8. Using the mounting fasteners you removed in step 2 , secure the provided longer operator-presence control cable to the upper handlebar ( Figure 1 ).
9. Connect the newly installed cable to the operator-presence bail bracket as shown in Figure 2.
10. Hook the loose cable fitting on the new cable into the blade-control lever, then pull the blade-control cable taut and slide it into the bracket as shown in Figure 5.

11. Unplug the electric-start connector from the front of the machine.

12. Attach the electric-start wire extender to the electric-start connector ( Figure 7 ) and plug it into the front of the machine as shown in Figure 6.

13. Using the supplied cable ties, secure the cables to the handlebar upper and lower sections.
14. Start the machine and ensure that the operator-presence bail shuts off the machine when it is released; refer to the eHoverPro Operator’s Manual.
Important: When you release the operator-presence bail, both the motor and the cutting disc should stop within 3 seconds. If they do not stop properly, stop using your machine immediately and contact an Authorized Service Dealer or authorized Toro distributor.
Note: Use care when maneuvering the machine; the longer handle may make
maneuvering more difficult.
Be careful when moving or storing the unit to prevent the latching mechanism
from breaking.
