We’ve written this manual to help you get the most from your hand blender.
Please keep hold of it for future reference.

- For household use only.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid hazard.
- This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
- Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
- Children shall not play with the appliance.
- Always disconnect the blender from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
- Before connecting the hand blender to the power, check the voltage shown on the appliance corresponds with the voltage in your home. If it doesn’t contact your local store.
- Do not use if the appliance, cord or plug is damaged.
- The cord shouldn’t hang over the edge of a table or counter, or touch a hot surface.
- Remove all packaging prior to use. Inspect the product for any damage before use. If damage is found, notify ASDA to exchange the product.
- Keep away from harsh or abrasive cleaning agents or solvents.
- Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.
- Don’t use the blender for anything other than its intended use.
- Please don’t dismantle. If a fault occurs have the blender
- blender body, cord, or plug in water or liquid. Do not use with wet hands.
- Hing and utensils away from all moving parts. Only use a scraper when the appliance is not in use.
- Never leave unattended when in use.
- Discontinue pressing the power buttons and disconnect from the power supply before changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use.
- Misuse may lead to injury. Care should be taken when handling the sharp cutting blades, emptying the container(not supplied) and during cleaning.
- Never add ingredients when the blender is in use, or before the blades come to a complete stop.
- When making food for babies or the elderly, ensure the blender is properly sterilised before use.
- Do not use with boiling liquids or hot fat as splashes may result in scalding and burns.
- Do not continuously operate for more than 60 seconds at a time as this can overheat the motor. Always allow the motor to cool to room temperature before continuing to use.
- Do not operate when the container is empty, as this can cause damage.
- Do not blend overly hard ingredients as these won’t blend.
- This blender is a Class II or double insulated electrical appliance. It does not require a safety connection to electrical earth.
- Unplug the blender from the outlet when it is not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, before moving the appliance or adding the food and before cleaning.

This blender can be used for fluids (e.g. dairy products, sauces, fruit juices, soups, drinks and shakes), soft ingredients (e.g. pancake batter and mayonnaise), or puréeing cooked foods (e.g. for making baby food).
Please note
Remember to only run the blender continuously for a maximum of 60 seconds at a
time. If the blender body becomes hot, turn off and allow it to cool to room
temperature.
How to……clean your hand blender
Make sure you aren’t pressing the hand blender power buttons and ensure the blender is disconnected from the power.
- Carefully remove the blender shaft from the body beware of the sharp blade.
- Wash the shaft in warm, soapy water and rinse under a hot tap.
- The blender body can only be wiped with a damp cloth.
- Dry all parts thoroughly before storing.
The blender blade is not dishwasher safe.
How to……change the fuse
- Only use a 3 amp fuse.
- To change the fuse, place a screwdriver into the recess of the plug cover and pull the fuse holder upward until it’s free.
- Slide the fuse out and pop in the replacement.
- Slot the fuse holder back into the recess and push down until it locks into place.

To qualify for the 2 year warranty the appliance must have been used according
to the manufacturer’s instructions. For example kettles should have been
regularly de-scaled.
If your appliance stops working or develops a fault then return it to your
nearest store and we will happily replace or refund the item, with exception
of the below exclusions:
EXCLUSIONS
ASDA shall not be liable to replace goods under the terms of the warranty
where:
- The fault has been caused or is attributable to accidental use, misuse, negligent use or use contrary to the user manual’s recommendations or where the fault has been caused by power surges or damage caused in transit.
- The appliance has been used on a voltage supply other than that described on the product rating label.
- Repairs have been attempted by persons other than our service staff (or authorised dealer).
- Where the appliance has been used for hire purposes or non-domestic use.
- ASDA are not liable to carry out any type of servicing work, under the warranty.
This warranty does not confer any rights other than those expressly set out
above and does not cover any claims for consequential loss or damage. This
warranty is offered as an additional benefit and does not affect your
statutory rights as a consumer.
If for any reason this item is replaced during the 2 year warranty period, the
warranty on the new item will be calculated from original purchase date. It is
vital to retain your original proof of purchase to indicate the date of
initial purchase.
